Jaguars cut Lenny Fournette

Just the type of RB that the Pats needed last season to pick up tough yards and especially at the goal line.

Yall better prepare yourself for Bradys 7th ring.

Possible but wouldn't bet on it.

I heard that NOLA Saints Kamara is on the trading block because of crazy new contract expectations. The Saints are the only team in the way of the Bucs winning the division IMO. Anybody fear the Falcons? I dont. Panthers are in limbo.

It's basically Bucs and 49ers in the NFC...two former patriot QBs in the NFCCG

I honestly believe Tampa goes 10-6 at best. Super teams never win in this league. NFL is a tough league to buy a title.

their schedule is not that bad. I would have said 12-4 before the Fournette signing. Now, I think it'll be more like 13-3 or better.

Fear the falcons or panthers? No. But those are division games... And nothing is a given... New England was so much better than the rest of the division for 20 years, but how many times did the clean the slate and run 6-0 in the division? Not as often as they should...

As for the bucs getting fournette, that's a perfect example of the intangible power Brady wields in the league... Something New England now lacks... He is a draw, and it's no surprise fournette went there for short money... Sadly, it's no longer an advantage for us
I am curious to see how Bill adjusts now that there is going to be less of an incentive for players to take bargain deals for him. We kinda got lucky with Cam

Brady's ultimate FU to Belichick... bringing in Gronk and Fournette

If that means they can beat teams in our way like the Chiefs that works for me.
Without Brady and Gronk and with the players who have opted out of this season, I no longer think the Pats are in a place where teams like the Chiefs and Ravens are "in our way."

They are until they aren't. We'll see.

I will cheer for the Bucs when they can help the Pats (like beating KC) or when they're playing a team I can't stand, they're not relevant to me any other time.

Yes. That's the main thing the Bucs have working against them. It takes time for a "collection of talent" to gel. Brady hinted at this in his interview with Peter King when he twice mentioned that there was very little "margin for error" and suggested they had a lot of work to do.

That said, if anybody can get a team on track on the field its TB12...like having an OC in the huddle. If the Bucs get through the first half of the season in decent shape, I wouldn't count them out for anything.

Exactly, it's not as if NE is a serious contender this year in the AFC...

If Brady is still Brady, who is realistically standing in their way in the NFC? The Saints are good but have been perennial playoff disappointments. I don’t see the Packers, Vikings, or Bears stopping them in the North. Maybe the Seahawks or 49ers in the West. Nobody in the East jumps out as a possibility. I’d have to think they’d be odds-on favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, assuming health.

Why? If we don't win it all (and we won't, even if we had signed Fournette), then I want Tampa Brady to win it all.

If the Bucs are there and the Patriots aren't. I'll cheer for them loudly against the Chefs or Ratbirds... and that's it.
