To those saying "just sign Brady" and get him receivers...who the **** are they going to get and how the **** are they going to get him enough offensive threats for him to be happy? Don't come at me with Joe Jones had a great three cone 3 years ago at the combine, such and such a coach just doesn't know how to use him! Bill is a GENIUS! they don't have enough $ to sign anyone worthwhile, and frankly, there's not much out there. Additionally, as we've seen numerous times, 2d and 3rd tier receivers or former stars on their last legs often don't work out with Brady - the list is too numerous to name. anything worthwhile would command a 1 or a 2, and you know Bill salivates at turning those 1s and 2s into 17 fourth through seventh rounders over the next 3 drafts....honestly, I'd RATHER Bill trade every ****ing pick because his last few drafts have SUCKED - when you've drafted NINETEEN players the last 2 years and all you have to show for it is a ****ing punter, a tackle who's played in like 25% of his games, a DE who did NOTHING over the last 8 games, and a first round rb who plays more like a 5th rounder....PLEASE...spare me the "value" of draft picks...and spare me the NKeal Harry circlejerk...WHAT ABOUT JAWUN BENTLEY!!!!!! what about him, he blows...
So, it is pointless to bring Brady back WITHOUT sufficient WEAPONZ...only way to do that is make serious veteran cuts on defense, go uber young on that side of the ball, and spend as much $ as you can bringing in the best of what's available at TE and WR. Bill tried winning with special teams and defense - we saw how that worked out with a 43 year old quarterback...not so well.
If you're bringing Brady back, make him happy...but it will require Bill taking the stick out his azz and realizing the team needs to win games 35-31 because you had to sell out your D to make Brady happy.
If you're not bring back Sad Pouting Tom, then blow it up and tank...
