Baltimore is going to be a 12-14 win team as long as Lamar Jackson plays...there's no way you can devise and base a defense to stop them bc such a defense wouldn't be effective vs the other 30 teams...just isn't fair to have an incredible talent...mind you, that could be in NE

Would think that a good DC could figure how to contain Jackson and force him to beat you with arm. His throwing has gotten better but he is still prone to mistakes ...IFF you flush but contain ...or contain and pressure.....hard to imagine none of the top elite D’s and coord can’t do this.....unless they are setting him up to knock him down/out..when it counts!

The NFL, as with the NBA and NHL, has moved away from power and physicality, and towards speed and a more "skilled" version of the game. It's a lesser product, but it's flashier and fits the diminished processing capacity of the modern fan.

And one side effect is that it's tougher than ever to stop players with elite speed and athleticism.
