Did not realize jets drafted

Wilson, sauce gardner, Jermaine johnson and breece hall. - everyone in 2022 draft and on top of it they have/had fashanu, quinnen williams , will mcdonald .

That's insane amount of talent and now they have 5 first round picks and 3 second round pickss in next 2 years .
I thought that Draft would put the Jets over the Top: I know it was a heck of a lot better than over Strange Draft. Though we did get Marcus and Jack Jones from that Draft.

It was the Jets. Their first round pick track record...let's say, it's not the greatest.

It's funny how they have faltered after those picks.

If only they had a decent coach and maybe a game manager like Mac.

If Brian flores, Josh and McD were with jets in 20220 what could have happened. They might be like the 49ers.

Well they are waaaay behind the eight ball now and won't be a threat for a while.

It's the Jets. They could have 10 first round picks and still screw it up.

Say what we will about Bill's drafting. There will never ever be a highlight of the Patriots on draft day like the one I just posted about the Jets loool

We want Sapp! We want Sapp!

Question - is this the most confident and favored Pats have been going into a game since 2019?
It seems like it... and that kind of scares me.

Exactly the QB that used to give BB teams fits. Case in point was that ****ing game against the Bears where the media **** heads were pimping BBs win record and the fact he was gonna tie or eclipse Hallas. Didn't happen. Embarrassed and depants on ****ing National TV.

Hoping Vrabel has this team ready. Similar situation where the media is fawning all over the Pats this week.

A ****ing 13 point spread is prime bulletin board material. The Jete will be ready and primed for the upset special.

Pats struggle to cover running backs out of the backfield. I would expect Hall to get many chances to take over this game both running and YAC on short dump offs.

Hope they can shake off the bruises from last Sunday and tackle him before he runs for long gains.
100%. i hate all this attention and a national tv game on top of it at this stage esp vs the jets.

Stop with this.
Agreed. Josh McDaniels must know that his real passion is drawing up offensive schemes and working with his players to see and understand what they are doing. He's got an ego, but not one that demands he sink or swim as a head coach. What is so interesting about Josh and how he fits in with Vrabel and Doug Marrone - all three former head coaches who went through the experience of getting fired - is that they respect one another's talents and experience. This is such a good situation for these three guys with owners willing to spend some money and be patient with the development of the roster. I seriously doubt that any of them would leave this team next offseason for money and another rebuild.

I think the reverse is true. I think this situation will attract some very interesting coaching candidates for any openings they have to fill. Some of the younger guys with the Patriots will have opportunities because of the success of this team and the culture they are building here. Defensive Coordinator may be a very attractive opening in 2026 if Terrell Williams does not fully recover from his cancer. (Best wishes to him on a good recovery and prognosis. )

It's why I say we'll find out how well this team is coached. I don't expect them to take the Jets lightly.

Pats open as -11.5 favorites on TNF.

Yes I know what happened last time the Pats played Fields but please let it be Fields again lol.
Wow that's a huge point spread! I can't say I disagree though.

If the Patriots play their game they should score a lot of points against these Jets. Their defense is 3rd worst in the division and they traded away two of their best defenders. New York's offensive unit is not looking great either with Garrett Wilson reportedly out with a knee sprain.

I would just like to see a fast start from the Patriots for once. Just play a tight and consistent game and we should win today. Also staying healthy is very important. *knock on wood* That's all.

Fields has passed for 54 yards or less in 3 of his last 4 games. Oh dear...
What is so weird is the play calling by the Jets. In the Bengals win, Fields threw 32 passes for 244 yards. He completed 66% of his passes in the Bengals win and just 53% in the three other games. In the other three games he threw 17 or fewer passes and they lost two of three. Turn the dude loose. It's like Glenn is coaching like the team with the fewest interceptions wins. What a bizarre world the Jets fans live in. Sling it, Justin!

Tight gap discipline and they can shut down Hall and Fields on the ground. Both of them can turn a 4 yard gain into 40 if mistakes are made.

Any thoughts on the offensive approach with Hooper, Stevenson and likely Jennings out? They’re awfully short on brawn (and Tonga can’t play EVERY position!)

Just a reminder to my degenerate brethren:

Betting on the Jets +12.5 means you're betting on Justin Fields and Aaron Glenn on the road.

That is all.
