How Can the Pats Stop the Ravens?

Best chance is:

1. Another team takes them out.
2. Baltimore is ravaged with injuries when we play them.

Otherwise, this team has it all. Offense. Defense. Coaching. Hell they got a top 10 kicker in NFL history.
Not sure what you are saying. The Ravens will beat the Patriots in the playoffs if the Ravens are healthy? Is the Raven's defense and coaching better than the Patriots? Would you rather have Jackson or Brady? Although, they presently have a better kicker.

So what happens if Ravens and KC meet in the divisional round? I think KC could win that

I think the 49ers made some of the same mistakes as the Pats. So, he can focus on what the Pats did right or wrong and try to coach that up. I also think the weather conditions impacted this game as well.

I picked the 49ers in Ian's pool, but changed it at the last minute as soon as I heard Jimmy G didn't bother practicing with a wet ball this week...at that point I knew the Ravens were going to be tough to beat today

The best way for the pats to stop the ravens is to have someone else do it for them.

I don't. But it would be a great game to watch.

What is your point apart from being a douchebag ?

Please tell me what specifically in this game stood out to you as something "special" the 49ers did. IF you can't point to anything you better just shut up and let people with an actual opinion talk.

For once in your posting history say something of substance please.

The fact YOU think nothing can be taken away from the niners-ravens game means little. Now you are changing the goal posts to "special" techniques the 49ers used. Obviously, Bill will take away something from the game, even if it is a little. Maybe I should text him and let him know not to bother with this game since you decided it wasn't going to be helpful.

And please, don't call me a douche. You are the one who attacked Ian several months ago for posting a duplicate thread and blamed it on his software. Meanwhile, you don't donate any money to his website and feel it's ok to criticize his forum. THAT, my friend, is being a douche.

No I don't. This is the discussion you just decided to jump into and most probably didn't ****ing read up on. The person I was talking to said the 49ers "SHOWED" how to play the Ravens.

Again READ UP before you just jump in random conversations or you end up missing the context and will look like a clown.

Misleading. Wrong in your facts. And oblivious to the fact that I have been talking to him about this even before the entire debacle happened.

EDIT: And now that you realized you have egg on your face by just jumping in other people's conversations you just keep throwing disagrees around. Child at work.

I don’t. KC can’t even stop the run. Ravens might go for 300.

Yeah, but KC won the first game by going up quickly and hanging on. Ingram had a nice day but Jackson did not running the ball. Pretty much the same thing in the Browns game.

This is the NFL. Any team can win any day.

i wouldn’t count on that happening. The Pats have the best run D of any of the playoff contenders. They are also the best coached.

I still think the AFC is a 3 team race between the Ravens, Pats and Chiefs. Ravens are probably the best all around team, Chiefs the most dynamic and the Pats the smartest. Assuming things play to form these playoffs should be exciting.

Jackson clearly doesn’t like throwing in tight windows. He looks like a one read QB. Most, if not all of his completions are to wide open guys. Get the Ravens in 3rd and long, play man with a spy. If there’s a defender anywhere near the receiver, 9 times out of 10 they won’t outmuscle the defender to catch it.

Thankfully, fans don’t need to figure out how. We don’t have to figure anything out except what we’re going to eat while watching:)

The Patriots will play the Ravens in the playoffs and the Patriots will win.

If you gamble, this might be the best odds you get, time to place some futures bets.

Yeah but nobody has forced him to look off his first read.

I honestly thought they would have killed the 49ers and was surprised that it was close. His passing was fantastic against the Pats but most likely impacted by the weather in this game. Don't discount the stigglers. Ravens and Stigglers always is a fight.

I think it’s because teams play zone they are so afraid to play man Jackson will take off running.

Best way to stop Baltimore is to win out because they are looking like 14-2 right now. I think Billy is gonna have something for that offense in the rematch and I think New England would be a small favorite at home.
