I don't see what you mean by how you base your rooting in reality. So just because you have a good team you are allowed to talk down to the other teams? That's pretty interesting, I mean, I understand that if the players want to they may have the right to because they have actually earned it, but even that would be considered what an ******* would do. So when fans do it, people who have very little to do with the actual play on the field, what do you think that makes them?

Anyway I like some of you guys, others ruin it for the whole though, i'm sure you think the same of us.

Please, do you know TrumpetMan or Preechr? Those two (along with their buddies) invade the boards every time the Chargers play the Pats with their non-stop chest thumping.

I don't care if you post or not but having a conversation about how unfairly Chargers fans are treated by Pats fans is laughable.

Well the feelings the Charger's have against the Patriots (the team) is pretty reasonable I think. I mean did you see how disrespectful your team was after the win, that's why we dislike the pats. You also had won 3 superbowls pretty recent to that, it's an "act like you've been there before" kind of thing.

I'm sure you guys thought it was funny or whatever, but if you were on the other side you'd have the same feelings.

My post wasn't about how unfairly we are treated by pats fans btw, it's more about that a lot of you think you are above other teams fans because you have a good team. Which is what is really laughable.

So you think us getting ahead of ourselves and having a celebration is talking trash? More like a city getting hyped up because we haven't been to the level we 'thought' we were at ever. You guys were comming of Superbowl wins, of course you weren't going to get all hyped up and celebrate getting to the play-offs.

How about him saying just before the game this year about how the Chargers would beat the Pats 9 out of 10 times? How about the comments by your team when you ended their home streak and I'm not talking about Marty? How about the fact that your team couldn't lose without saying "they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves"?

You want shut people up, do it on the field. Instead, your team chooses to fight their battles in the media because they have trouble backing up their mouths.

Here's the deal. I've done some stupid things in my life because I was immature and Hobbs reaction is one such thing but what I've never done is to smear someone who was not involved in my battles.

Well the BB thing as far as I see it is water under the bridge. LDT just came off of the worst loss he had ever suffered and was, i'm sure, very emotional. He said some things he regretted and was man enough to appologize to BB in person and let him know that he was wrong in saying that.

Are the comments that we said about "kicking your ass" or whatever true after ending your home game win streak? All I remember is that is what Caldwell said, never trust an alien . Either way, that's not going out to the middle of your field and dancing on your logo, or going to your locker room afterwards yelling obsenities.

And you can't honestly say that we didn't help you guys out in that win. A muffed punt that gave you positon on our like 15. A interception that, if the player had just fallen down, would have been the nail in the coffin. Instead he fumbled it after and gave you guys the 12 or whatever yards you needed for a first down. I'm not trying to make excuses, but lets call a spade a spade and agree we definately helped you guys win that one. No doubt though the patriots obviously won it and that's all that matters.

So by following this line of thinking, if the game had been in Foxboro and the Chargers had won, it would have been okay if they danced on the Pat's logo because they were a bunch of losers that didn't know how to handle victory. I hope you see how silly this sounds and that it is the ultimate in homerism. That's fine though. We're all homers at heart and we'll go to great lengths to defend our teams even if it means inventing ludicrous scenarios so we can arrive at comforting solutions. In the end you're no different from the people that you deplore. So come down off your pedistal and stop indicating that your better than others. You're not. You're just like all of us...fans.
