I like Soney but Chubb is clearly better. Soney seems to run up the back of his blockers a little too often. Chubb is more decisive. Sees the hole and goes vertical.

Unlike here at patsfans out in the real world a hole has to exist in order to be seen. If Sony started seeing the types of holes Chubb does it would probably give him one, I know it would have that effect on me

I've never been a big Nugent fan but I don't see why this week alone should get him cut.

The issue for Sony is that he's not getting the holes that Chubb is getting.. Hard to hit holes that aren't there.

I know he’s quick to praise opponents. He also praises his own players as a group or in general terms. But he must REALLy enjoy Gilmore. Can’t say I blame him, but it was an eye opener.

Not one to dislike or disagree but I do with the couple posts I have seen saying Chubbs May not be a good back. Kid has quickness and good vision and looking at his size I bet he can block like a mofo too. Would love a guy like that. Great test for a really good defense.

The performance of the run defense today makes me very uneasy.

Bear in mind that they had a good head start in preparing for this game, they saw some weakness and came right at it. There were some huge holes for Chubb to run through at times, others he just carried two people with him for over 3yds.

I think we're going to have to realize the run D might be just pretty good. Can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I agree with your premise : people being cranky about the likes of Ferentz & #72... expectations for that type of player - gotta be limited.

What an absolute bizarre sequence by Kitchens.. don't think I've ever seen that from a HC in all the time I've watched football. 4th and a few becomes 4th and long and he sends the offense back out there. Later he doesn't go for it on the 4th, just settles for a FG, down by three scores, then starts calling screens.

Who said that Chubb isn't a good back? Pretty sure that everyone agrees that Chubb is a good to great back. Where people are disagreeing is on the analysis of Sony from what I've seen..

May he have seen his last injury ever... that said, he seems to have trouble with that first prerequisite to greatness, being on the field.
