To me it’s an overpay but willing to give it a chance.

Can we just pretend the 2nd rounder is Jordan Richards?

he's not worth it but given the situation, I would have done it

BB thinks it is worth it, so that's enough for me.

No but BB had to offer some eye candy in order to convince the falcons to trade him here

“That’s the market,” Schefter explained. “I believe that if the Patriots weren’t going to pay that price, I think that other teams — I don’t know if they were going to go with a [second-round pick], but keep in mind the Patriots’ two is like a [third-round pick] to other teams — so that’s the price of doing business. And…if New England wasn’t going to step up, there would’ve been other teams that would’ve stepped up. There are a number of other teams seeking wide receiver help. So that was what New England was going to have to pay to get this guy.”

If we only offered a 3rd he would be a Raider

And he's exactly right. How many Patriots picks turn into complete busts? Most of them! That's true for all teams. Most of these guys wash out. The picks are currency to be dealt, traded or used as they are fit. Bolstering the WR corps was a need and this fills it.

We overpaid. But this is a sellers market. If we can win the big one it will be worth it.

I'm a total draftnik, but I still vote absolutely yes because:

- He's not just a rental, but under contract for 2020.
- The last I checked, the Patriots still have three 3rd-round picks and plenty of late-rounders as well, so losing a pick at the bottom of the 2nd shouldn't create a big hole in their draft.
- A late 2nd is hardly mortgaging the farm in a season with vast potential.

And from what I am reading, it is the Raiders.

I think Schefter has an account here so no need to submit a vote on his behalf lol.

When the details come in we may come to find the Falcons ate a bunch of his salary, and/or that Gordon is done for the season, in which case this was a very good deal.

I think you just troll and stalk people from thread to thread. So no need to actually engage in a very valid point when you can just troll.

I heard the falcons rejected the pats offer of #28 pick

Never been a big fan of Sanu as he has never proven to be more than a complimentary piece. He is durable and consistent though. I suppose the Pats are pretty desperate at this point for better offensive production so a 60th or so overall pick might not be a horrible trade.

No, it's just that I read/saw that tweet a dozen times and you are just quoting from it. Just retweet the tweet and be done with it.
And don't call me a troll since you don't know a thing about me posting anything of the like in the past.
Carry on.
