This Chiefs team is garbage

Maybe it's not so much that the Chiefs are "garbage", but that Indy's D came to play. Our D allowed almost the same amount of points to the "high-flying" Bills offense. Holding Mahomes and the Chiefs to 13 points at Arrowhead is impressive. Chiefs TOP was just under 23 minutes. The Patriots allowed 31 points in 21 minutes of possession to that same team.

It's no secret that keeping Mahomes on the sideline is the key. The Pats provided the blueprint. The Colts gained 180 yards on the ground. Not sure we have the horses to pull that off again given the loss of Gronk, Allen, Andrews and Develin.

I can. Here goes:

The Kansas City Chiefs are a trash team who haven't beaten any good teams and just lost at home to a garbage team that started its practice squad.

Seriously, where do these people even come from? A new guy on this board is telling us the team that almost beat us twice last year is trash. Come back when you are a fan of the Pats for longer than 6 months.

Last season was a down year for the Patriots.

K.C. missed their top 2 WR's and they need their starting LT back....

But yeah, that D still looks suspect even with Honey Badger playing well....I hope they don't get Ramsey....

This Chiefs team is garbage

well they ain't going 19-0 anyway

Funny how when the Pats lose there is a month of "blueprint to beat the Pats" crap in the media. Both the Pats, Lions and Colts played man to man effectively to beat the Chiefs or in the Lions case almost beat them. No media hype.

Also the Chiefs all world tight end Kelce got in a heated exchange with the Chiefs offensive coordinator last night. He even pushed him! No media outrage over that??!!

It's crazy how the media treats the Pats versus ANY other team in the league.

I think that the most important thing ANYONE can learn from the Colts/Chiefs game was this. When you have a really good OL and a really good DL, you will ALWAYS be in games at the end.

So while most fans get all dazzled by the shiny cool toys that are WR's, RB's and to a much lesser degree even QB's. If your OL and DL's are good, you will rarely be out of games. Please at least CONSIDER this the next time the NEXT WR is fawned over like a movie star....or hooker.

He used to post here under the name FourierSeries. Then he got banned because he made a cash bet on McGregor when he fought Mayweather then refused to pay. Came back under another name and got banned. Maybe the third time is a charm.

No doubt you win and lose championships in the trenches...I don't think there is much the Pats can do in this area right now, with the exception of coaching/playing better.

Now I know you are a bandwagoner

In your desperate attempt to be "impartial," you've gone too far the other way. So much so that you now sound like one of those virgins in their mom's basement who seethe every time NE wins a game.

Chris Harris maybe. Don’t know if the cards would trade Peterson if he comes back. It wouldn’t solve all their defensive problems but it would help their pass defense somewhat.
Chris Harris is 473 years old. I don't think KC has the capital to get Patrick Peterson.

That's where you are wrong, my young friend. You are underplaying your "exception".

You would be wrong to expect anything else. So much of what an OL does is a matter of coordination, almost like a dance company. What made TWilliams, Thuney, Andrews, Mason, and Cannon so effective was their CONTINUITY. Think about it, Thuney, Andrews, Mason, and Cannon have been together playing 98% of the total available snaps for THREE full years. prior to this one. There was no big expectation this year that absorbing Wynn would be difficult. Now this season all that continuity has been broken up between Andrews and Wynn's injuries.

The running game in particular has been effected. And that doesn't count the losses of Gronk Allen and Devlin, who all have a big affect on both run and pass blocking. SO in the end, there is a LOT of things to expect in the way of improvement over the course of the next 11 games. The OL you see now and the one playing in December will be vastly improved (subject to injuries)

"Almost beat us twice"

You mean, lost twice?

Aggressive, almost exclusive man. I guess more of a controlled aggression in all aspects. From the way you handle their WRs to the rush that makes a point to keep Mahomes in the pocket. Hes great at manipulating & recreating a platform for himself. You want to suffocate a guy like him & not let him work you while his WRs use their speed.

I've watched a ton of them. I wouldn't get too fancy. Broncos, Titans & Cards all had a lil success playing tight man as well going back to last year.

Its dark days over at Chiefs Planet.

They are taking this hard.

No one mentioned that Kelce pushed his OC onthe side line. Sure... they 'hugged it out later' but you can't just do that.

People using the 'that's just football' kind of lines are simply making an excuse. If you get in a pushing match on the field with other players that is just football and 2 athletes going at it (unless one throws a punch or something) that's one thing. Once you're on the sidelines you enter a different world. The rule of law and the rules of what is and isn't assault are very clear.

I'm not saying Kelce should go to jail for it or anything but that needs to be punished even if it is hugged out. You can't have a 250lb athlete pushing around normal people cause they are having a heated argument. Not cool at all.

I would say a 1 game suspension without pay seem fair. If there is no punishment it sets a very bad precedent.

I've been on this board A LOT longer than you have, so don't tell me about cheering for this team. And you can't even get your meme right as it only has 5 Lombardis.

Great point.

Someone else made another great point today. Though I supported releasing Brown it is utterly preposterous that he was in the news (even national) EVERY DAY that he was on the Pats. Waaay more than when he was on the Raiders.

Now that he is released he is "yesterday's news" in a YUGE way. WTF
