I expect Meyers to be inactive as soon as Brown is active.
More snaps for Meyers is not a bad thing.

Obi to PS and Bodine to active even betterI'd be surprised if they would resign Obi to the active roster. If he went unclaimed through waivers he can be signed to the PS (and activated in case of emergency at any point). What is the point putting him on the active roster under those circumstances ?

Not trying to be negative. But this move irks me. Why not see what this guy can do in this offense. He obviously showed that he was healthy as far as his Achilles, looked really good. He’s also insurance as far as Gordon & Brown are concerned. If either act up, they are gone. Both could be gone by mid season if they don’t behave.
Could’ve also played more of a Gronk role, as far as his size. My complaint about this is, why now ? Couldn’t they have played him, see if he shined, and then, come trade deadline, get more for him. I really don’t like this move. On paper, great receiving corps, but in reality, some major question marks as far as reliability with Brown & Gordon off the field.
I think Gunner's solid performance as a punt returner was the final straw in making DT totally expendable as the WR7.
Why. The. Hell . Are. We. Making. Trades. With. Them
We traded for an old wide receiver ...
Edelman, Gordon, Brown, Dorsett, Harry, Meyers, Gunner...and Slater
This screams another trade even before Harry comes back.
Makes all the sense in the world.
