Talk about low hanging fruit. Haynesworth was a shot that failed. He was never a problem with the Pats, just no longer the great football player he was, and he was quickly replaced, gone, and forgotten. This is the team that traded for Haynesworth. This is the team that gave Aaron Hernandez a big money second contract.
We, as the fan base of that same team, never get to say that "there's no way this team would take ......" about any player who has talent. The only possible exception might be a guy with a significant domestic violence issue.
And the Hernandez comment was just gratuitous. When Herrandez was given that contract, besides playing well, he had never missed a meeting, practice, or philanthropic event in his time with the Pats. In fact that held true right up until the time he was arrested. Really a lazy gibe by you....and inaccurate if used to point out Brown comparisons.
