Rosen comes dirt cheap, that's part of the appeal. Locked up for the next three years for a total of <$2 million. Hoyer's making $3 million this season.

Essentially this is why you're trading for him now. He comes at backup $ w a lot of potential. Certainly on par w anyone in this class.

Essentially he was fired. So he stopped following something so his phone wasn’t lit up with posts and articles about his replacement.

You seem to want him to be competitive but not be bothered by being replaced before having a reasonable chance. Those 2 things conflict.

You don't know how to use Instagram, do you? You can mute someone you are following without actually unfriending them. Essentially you can take a break from someone that you are tired of. I guarantee you that Rosen knows how to do this. All millennials do.

If his college team brings in a new hot shot recruit/Xfer, is he likely to to embrace the challenge and compete for the job or will he enter the transfer portal and find another school? Would he compete like Brady did with Henson?

No.

But I'll put myself in Rosen's shoes. He was THE franchise QB for a ****bag team. I bet the owner made him feel like he was the Golden Boy. The coach gets sacked, new coach comes in and they draft another QB and Josh feels the team didn't support him or give him a fair chance. I get that. I'd be pissed too.

However what I wouldn't do is unfollow my team knowing goddamn well the world would be watching.

Dumb. Childish.

It's a different deal with the NFL though. Your contract rights are held for several years when you're a rookie, so anything impeding your progress is going to hurt much more than simply sitting behind someone until your senior year.

I remember when the Chargers were not entirely thrilled with Drew Brees so they drafted Rivers. That was a bit of a different situation in terms of Brees' contract, but he was the Chargers' asset, and essentially they had to let him go for a fraction fo what he was actually worth.
