Well looks like AJ Green isn't in play.

Gotcha...because I was thinking, there have definitely been successful guys in the league who haven’t been able to pick things up here.

As far as the wonderlic, has there ever been a deep dive into how often, if ever, it’s predictive of anything? Actually, let me google. Stand by....

(Googling)

Nope, not that I can see. Just a bunch of anecdotal stuff with guys’ scores. Some reporter should look at that...they should probably get rid of it.

There's actually a negative correlation - higher Wonderlic scores are associated with a worse career outcome. It's not that simple, of course, but I don't think it means anything at all.

Didn't Green have some obscenely low Wonderlic score? Is it fair to ask if he can pick up the offense quickly enough?

AJ Green before the start of training camp.

I believe the list for most productive receivers, in the Brady era, who joined the Patriots after age 30 is:

(1) Randy Moss
(2) Chad Ochocinco
(3) Joey Galloway

I think its fair to ask if any 30+ WR can pick up the offense at all.

EDIT: Ugh I forgot Brandon Lloyd.
