Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

I'm sorry the law causes you to become so easily unhinged in this way, but yes, police must show probable cause to a judge to obtain a warrant and if said probable cause is shown to be fabricated, that would indeed put said warrant in legal jeopardy. Sorry to break it to you.

You obviously do not have an adequate appreciation for how things work in the court of Judge Roy Andy where all defendants are scheduled to get a (ahem) 'fair' trial immediately followed by a first rate hanging.

Yes- he did say once the trial is over it can be made public but I thought the court/judge has the ability to seal any documents/evidence at their discretion? They are basically saying that will not be something considered here.

Gross.

Florida also has one of the most broad public records laws in the nation.

Not only this, but Kraft's attorneys may be able to demonstrate the warrant was obtained under false pretenses, based on what we know. That certainly seems to be the case.
Oh really? And what part of the sealed warrant makes you think it was obtained under false pretenses?

Your friend,
America
Nothing you say there is wrong.
However leaping to the conclusion that because a warrant can be invalidated udckt was obtained improperly means that this one was obtained improperly is ludicrous.
There is not a scintilla of evidence available to you that anything is wrong with the warrant.

Your America seems to be one where we throw out warrants because hypothetically they could be flawed so therefore they are invalid. Real psych ward philosophy.

Even if the courts honor that request while Kraft and others are on trial, Snyder noted the videos would just be released after a verdict is reached.

"Once a case is over, it’s not an ongoing investigation,” Snyder said. “There has to be a specific reason not to release a public record. And the fact that there is sexual activity is not an exemption."

That bad boy is going public as long as someone makes a valid request under the Sunshine Law. And there is very little Kraft can do about it from a legal standpoint.

Its the offseason. I don't see how this is a major distraction.

If the story broke during Super Bowl Sunday then we have a major distraction.

I was only thinking about the team's reputation. Team hate.

Honestly, if I'm Kraft, the news is already everywhere and everyone knows there's a video...That anyone would actually WANT to watch it upon public release is a notch in my belt and something to smile about. How many of us are going to be able to produce a porn vid at 77 and actually have people lining up to watch it? There isn't much more damage that can be done to Kraft's rep by releasing the video. But the number of clicks it receives on pornhub might give him a Viagra like effect, if you know what I mean. Congrats on this, by the way, ya'll.

Sure there is a good reason. Its a public health issue. Once people see Bob's wrinkly johnson getting serviced people will puke and their eyes will melt

And on what grounds do you think this warrant was fabricated? Remember, probable cause means they have to have a reasonable suspicion. It does not mean they have to end up being right. So even if they were wrong about sex trafficking, that doesn't invalidate the warrant.

We're all just speculating. It will come down to what exactly LE told the court to obtain the warrant. I don't think anyone here is privy to that information. Apparently, Kraft's team seems to think there is some traction to be gained there.

Meh everyone hates us anyway. Screw em

The ramifications of this with respect to Kraft's standing among the owners will be great. No one will take him seriously anymore. He may also be stripped of a number of committee assignments, not to mention the suspension that Goondell will inevitably impose.

Who gets to watch 2 people having sex when it's released? Weren't these girls supposedly kept there weeks on end, never leaving? Now they have to to be victimized even more by letting the whole world see them servicing men? If the sunshine laws don't exempt sex on video, then they should. Unintended consequences?

Yeah, Jerry Jones' shenanigans have made him a complete non-entity.

That is certainly a possibility.

In terms of the product on the field being impacted I don't anticipate any
