Kraft Orchids Case - Prosecuters Want a Tug Rule?

What do you mean by many here are ignoring their own sins?
Our lives are benefited by cheap products that we buy made in countries with abysmal wages, no child labor laws to speak of etc. How moral are we? Are we the consumers complicit? Or just the companies? When we start moral preening, pretty much everyone falls short. He committed a crime - a misdemeanor. He will be punished. But the idea that seeking the services of a prostitute is some unheard-of offense is ridiculous.

Approaching 2000 posts.

Actually, there are plenty. Just look at any sugar dating website.

Not for the first time it occurs to me your browsing history may be considerably more...uh...expansive...than mine.

I don’t bring materials to African children and hire them to sew them into sneakers for 3 cents an hour.
To compare that to hanging money to a woman to whack me off is moronic.

Look I’m not the moral police here but take a step back. Do you really think it’s ok to walk into a place and throw 20 bucks on the table for a woman to fondle you?

Unheard of no, creepy and distasteful yes. Maybe you don’t have daughters.

That's actually a cool topic for discussion, with lots of gray areas to explore. Unfortunately, it's not something for Patsfans.com.

But, again, good topic.

If they weren’t slaves, people outta have the right to choose to sell sex.

Having said that, I wish I hadn’t read the details..not great. Feel really bad for these women, disturbing to be held against their will for this.

You can call it "bad luck" for Kraft. Whether you think its reprehensible or a nothing burger, when Kraft walked into that massage parlor, he was taking a severe reputational risk that he did NOT need to take. It was either just irresponsible or dumb or arrogant. But as a billionaire, one would think he could hvae found a lower risk more private way to satisfy his urge.

Now he has dragged the entire organization and fan base down into this hole with him.

We all love the Pats here, and I wish this had never happened...BUT they got him and now there will be consequences. THis at a time whenn the organization should be completely basking in glory.

I don’t. But prostitution is legal in many “civilized” places. And many people agree with that.

He has dragged the fan base nowhere. Are you that insecure?

What the hell are you talking about? Robert Kraft getting charged for allegedly (over)paying for a blowjob in Florida has had no impact on the fan base beyond gossip talk, which is meaningless.

Still won #6. Doesn't change that. I'm basking, I am not the one who went to the Asian Orchid or whatever the hell it was.

Perhaps implying that the fan base has been dragged into this was an overstatement. But the organization as a whole takes a bit of a reputational hit. Kraft does, beacuse at a minimum it was reckless and irresponsible.

I'm kind of disappointed. I read all of police reports yesterday, and I noticed a few of the Johns took a digit of two up the tailpipe. Unfortunately, it looks like Kraft was not one of those who had his colon swollen.

It would be nice if we could say he took it up the arse from someone other than Goodell.

Cheapo only went for the knob polish.

Slippery slope. You could argue a lot of things by saying laws ought to be different but to think these women aren’t victims I think is wrong.
I haven’t read the details so thanks for the advice.

Many people do not and I doubt anyone agrees with forced prostitution.

Agreed. We seem never to be able to just enjoy an off-season and the glory of a Super Bowl win. It's always something, d%#*!@t.

You asked if it was alright to pay a woman $20 for a fondle. A lot of people have no problem with that.

2003 was a good offseason....

A lot of people do, and in this instance it is likely it was not a willing choice of occupation.

Again take a step back and say “I got 20 in my pocket so I’m gonna go find a woman so desperate she will whack me off for it”.
You good with a guy who has that view of how to treat other people? I’m not.

The brand of the team is important. It’s not just about Robert Kraft.
