Buying stock in Florida escort services

Some people would say the true criminals here are the people ordering/putting cameras in massage rooms

Aside from the traffickers, of course

Doesn't Gillette charge $79 for the first hour of parking at the stadium.
($5 cups of water not included)

Thoughts on the other famous Bob's yet named:

If Jupiter legend Burt Reynolds hadn't passed away last year........69% probability.
Seasonal resident Joe Namath........80% probability
Tiger....even money

Assuming you’re saying “embarrasses us all” here and to that I say, really? It doesn’t embarrass me in the slightest. As a fan of the team I’m in no way responsible for the stupid crap the owner does and quite frankly his handling of spygate and deflate gate pissed me off far worse than this.

Where do you live? In the friendly confines of New England?
In Columbus, my phone blew up with comments and memes and every where I see people I know are snickering.

Fair point. My retort- this really isn't something that we as a society want to encourage women to do. Once they lose their looks and can't attract customers, what happens to them?

Are you operating under the assumption that prostitutes have to be physically attractive?

Free Bob

We need t shirts right away.
Barstool had them. But they seem to be gone, along with all the stuff with Kraft's likeness.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but, to qualify as a prostitute, you have to be attractive enough for men to pay to have sex with you. That's the basic business model.

That's a great question, and there are a lot of different answers. For one thing, there's the reality of what has happened in countries that have tried to legalize and regulate the "industry." Legalization ends up increasing demand, and raising the incidence of trafficking and abuse. And there are more wrinkles. How about this: at one point, women in Nevada counties where prostitution was legal were being denied benefits like unemployment insurance and welfare because they refused to take available jobs selling their bodies. (Or imagine, for a moment, a brothel that claims special tax exemptions because of its program to hire the mentally handicapped.)

Then there's the argument that prostitution as an industry is inherently abusive and contributes to inequality by setting up a power dynamic where women are products to be evaluated and purchased by men. In the words of President Jimmy Carter, "If paying for sex is normalized, then every young boy will learn that women and girls are commodities to be bought and sold."

FWIW there is one form of semi-legalization which has had success by some measures: the Swedish model of decriminalizing the selling of sex, but not the buying.

There used to be a very effective solution to the age-old problem of prostitution . . . marriage. Sadly, this institution has been severely undermined over the years.

How about a walk down hypocrite lane? warning: graphic revelations of an extremely prurient nature that may offend the holier than thou crowd..

I'm sorry.;..maybe I'm a cheap ba$tard but...there's no fargin' way I'm paying anybody 70 bucks to rub my back. I've been around the block and I've known what a "massage" parlor is since my teens. You have to be comatose, blind and undersmart not to know WTF an oriental "massage" parlor is.

Schefty.. you and your lousy sources.

Well they also caught the ex-President of Citigroup and a Billionaire corporate buyout guy, so... in some circles those are big names.

...i think statement like that should be followed by some kind of evidence...
You can choose to believe it or not.

Still do not get it, if these women were potentially in danger why wait?? Or were they waiting for the really big fish at the possible expence of them??

These women should not be used as pawns in this game.. if they were in danger, as it seems they were, take care of them first.
Kraft made national news. The majority of people will forget about his indulgence very soon. Society will still have a problem with slave traffic. Maybe the national news should have emphasized that part of the equation.

Lottta people are hurt by such things, especially when they occur on such a grand stage. That said, one of the small benefits of such awful things is what is revealed by the vocal reactions of many observerers. The righteous indignation expressed by those ultra entitled who live in historically lavish luxury, who've probably never even experienced a day of true hunger, speaks volumes.

I am saddened by the events, circumstances and societal flaws that triggered this event. But I'm grateful to have witnessed the true expression of a number of peoples' character that typically remains hidden. We are all hypocrites to one degree or another. The real problem is, few of us recognize that fact.

"Florida Statute 796.07 is the relevant Florida law for solicitation of prostitution. It makes it illegal to solicit or induce another person into prostitution, which is defined under Florida law as “giving or receiving of the body for sexual activity for hire but excludes sexual activity between spouses.” As to the term “sexual activity,” it is defined as “oral, anal or vaginal penetration by, or union with, the sexual organ of another; anal or vaginal penetration of another by any other object; or the handling or fondling of the sexual organ of another for the purpose of masturbation; however, the term does not include acts done for bona fide medical purposes.”"

SO I guess it boils down to whether a drunk old man could "perform" well enough to be clearly being "fondled for the purpose of masturbation" on video camera. . . gross!

?????

Victorian London, anyone? Sky-high marriage rates, and a legendary concentration of brothels.
