SI article- Which teams will win the next 5 Super Bowls?

I saw this the other day. As these pundit lists are always wrong (it’s a law of nature), here are the teams likely to win since inexplicably no one picked them:

Green Bay
Atlanta
Houston
San Francisco
Carolina
Dallas

Somehow the Jets, Bucs, Browns, Broncos, Raiders, and theoretical Polar Bears all have a vote but none for the teams listed above.

Funny, i had a bad dream Dallas beat NE in a super bowl last night

I like none of those teams to win the SB (Patriots excluded). Instead of looking at the treat of the week, I will predict which team should be tough. Despite obvious problems, I’d put Pitt and Seattle ahead of the teams listed above. The listed teams all have young QBs that have yet to win it all and may - in some cases - regress. I’ll take Wilson & Ben ahead of the lot.

I've been waiting to see if someone would mention Seattle. I don't think Wilson gets the respect he deserves. He led the Seahawks to the playoffs in 6 out of 7 seasons (with two SB trips and a win) and this was the first year he didn't win at least one playoff game.

As for Pitt, I'd agree but I'm wondering if Big Ben will be around long enough for the current dysfunction to settle.

Belichick is a much better coordinator than head coach, which the Patriots will find out. - Pete Prisco June 2001

“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson or the second-best tackle in the draft in Kenyatta Walker, they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.” - Ron Borges

Ya the media is so clairvoyant. Don't even get me going on quotes after the 2014 KC game.

Well you could be jumping to conclusions/not being fair to Prisco. He might have meant BB is 3 times better than any other coordinator, while only 2 times better than any other head coach. Do the math, that makes BB "a much better coordinator" :)

Just stop

With all the hyperbole, I'm easily still more realistic than a JETE fan bothering to hope for a winning record.

One million super bowls.

I think you should start a whole new thread with this stuff. Then we can add to it once these guys are proven wrong.

Good stuff. Keep it coming.

There was a pretty interesting article on how badly sacks were destroying his game. He's been getting blown up back there. When he has protection, there was a point last year where his team averaged 5.2 points per drive. I think Russell has been getting the short end of the stick on that team the past few seasons.

Which team has Trevor Lawrence by year 5?
