The best failed prediction up to now, in my opinion, was Kellerman's SB 51 halftime Tweet:

" Cliff"

worse IMO was Rob Parker's from Sept 2014

Pats win Super Bowl? No way, no how. Brady will never make it back to SB. In last 9 playoff games (not counting Denver game) 14 TDs, 12 INTs

9:30 AM - 4 Sep 2014

-------
He was so disastrously wrong. Not within an hour, like Kellerman was, but in 2014, and 2016, and even last year. Kellerman has kind of backed off. Rob Parker clings to his idiocy like a badge of honor.

Not everybody.
Chargers beat writer has Pats winning 27-24.

It’s funny I thought I was content after we beat the Seahawks and then again after we beat the Falcons. The itch to win never dies.

Me: “Honey, if we just have sex tonight, I promise I’ll leave you alone for a week. You know you want to....”
Wife: “sigh..... fine.”

Next morning:
Me: “Honey....”
Wife: “Get out of my bed!”

I understand this is not your intent but the bolded reads like sexual assault.

I don't think the issue has ever been: "Will he decline?" It is whether he would, as certain mincing dimwits have asserted, "drop off the edge of the table" (or cliff) precipitously in the fairly near term. It is already too late for this prediction to come true, of course, since it was first made some time ago.

Aging, I can tell you, is an inexorably downward business, net, but there are a gains and losses in the line items. He's lost some zip, but he's gained some brains, and we're lucky, still, to have him.

Fiddlesticks. It's lame humor at worst. You cheapen actual sexual assault with such breathless and over-precious nonsense.
And you just minimized someone being coerced into having sex with someone, which is sexual assault.

One used to find more sanctimonious twits on the right end of the political spectrum. Now you are all gathered at that special, special safe space at the far leftward end. Cuddle up with the others there, Wheelgirl: you're going to find reality a rough ride.

I’m the same way!

And you’re right, it does aggravate your wife.

Why didn't you just say you like to coerce women into having sex with you, also known as sexual assault? Would have been easier, wouldn't it? So why don't you turn yourself into the authorities and rot in prison where you belong.

It wasn’t broken when Gronk was Gronk, without Gronk being Gronk it has been inconsistent. I don’t think whiffing on receivers in the draft “allows” us to hit big on FA receivers. The only big time receivers we have brought in were Moss, Cooks, and Josh Gordon, who were all trades. Obviously Moss we hit the jackpot, while Cooks and Gordon made an impact but for a very limited amount of time.
As far as not paying someone because you’re worried about Edelman he should be cut tomorrow if that was ever the case. Based on the way Julian acts (I could be completely wrong) I doubt that would ever be the case with him. Also whatever they did offer Cooks last year was probably triple what JE makes.

That's my point...we traded for Cooks, Gordon, and Moss...all of whom were under contract already. And of those 3, we only paid Moss....which was justified at the time and BEFORE we gave Edelman a "big" contract. Also, when Welker went to Denver...we paid Amedola "Edelman money" before we re-signed Edelman later.

Dobson, Taylor Price, Brandon Tate, Chad Jackson, Bethel Johnson, and Deion Branch were all drafted in the first 3 rounds of the draft. Deion Branch was the only one that wasn’t a bust. That’s 6 in 18 years in the first 3 rounds. That averages to 1 every 3 years so they do spend some draft capital on receivers. They just don’t do it well.
As for Jules take a victory lap if you want but he was a project and not a receiver prospect.
6 in 18 years.

What does that tell you when over the same period they've signed and or traded for dozens of WRs,?

You have no idea what the projected Jules as. They are as hell weren't going to play him at QB

Plaxico Burress, Hines Ward, Antwan Randel-El, Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders, Antonio Brown, and JuJu. Hire their scouts.
Out of how many picks and years? If you are pulling out Plax and Hines you are going way back

Dude! C'mon man.

Friendly banter between a husband and wife is not sexual harassment.

I say that respectfully.

Athletic Processing is still a top -5 all-time phrase I've seen here.

He argued the meaning of that one hard. Even threw the ever so conclusive, " even my wife has heard of athletic processing... so there.." at me. haha

Steelers?

The last time the Steelers drafted a top-30 CB was when they drafted Ike Taylor (even this is debatable) in 2003. The last legitimate safety they drafted (again, debatable as to what you'd want a safety to actually do) was Troy Polamalu in 2003.

It's a damn good thing they've hit on a couple of those high picks in the front 7, because they cannot draft secondary to save their life, for the better part of 20 years.

About that question you were asking about earlier;

I'll let you in on some esoteric stuff. This is not even the tip of the iceberg.

Minnesota is the 32nd state.

The big story, almost overshadowing the Eagles' win, is this Malcolm Butler

being benched story... Malcolm Butler was born on 3/2 (32)...

And the guy he was benched for, Eric Rowe, guess who drafted him?

The Eagles, and his jersey number for the Eagles was #32... Ha ha ha.

So the first thing I thought was that Belichick, in his 325th all time game

w/NE, 325 is the 25th triangular number, he makes a very strange decision

to bench a starter and in his place he starts a guy that wears #25... AFC stayed on 25 titles. Pats stayed on 34 playoff wins and only 34 pats showed up at the White House.

...and the whole, the NFC has 27 SB wins
and the AFC has 25 SB wins...

This fits perfectly with that. Check it out...
the SB was 27 days from Malcolm Butlers birthday!
...and the guy who replaced him... Eric Rowe... was born 10/3 (103)... the 27th prime!

And I was just really loving my 27/25 point differential find in the Eagles

and Patriots' losses. The PD of the Eagles' 3 losses was 27...
and the PD of the Patriots' 3 losses was 25. And now the NFC has 27 SB wins,
and the AFC has 25.

Foles was born on the same day that the 41st president was inaugurated and he wins the SB with 41 points. 41st president died the same year he won the SB. Foles just improved to 4-1 in the playoffs over the bears and the address of US bank stadium is 401 Chicago avenue lol. This is why I knew that the Eagles would beat the bears.

His comment was for WRs but you are right. They suck at drafting in the secondary
