Wild card weekend game thread: Colts @ Texans

That AT&T “OK” doctor commercial makes me uncomfortable.

What's up with Watson's throws. They look weird.

He ran out of gas on the last series, looked spent and couldn’t get anything on the last two throws

Colts have only beat one playoff team on the road this year

And that's this ****ty ass Texans team twice.

4 downs and couldn’t get one yard. Terrible.

Garbage playcalling combined with awful accuracy from Watson and a OL that can't consistently keep pressure away.

Half that ball was across the line when he was losing it
As the ball crossed over the front edge of the goal line, his fingers were extended straight out -- no way you can grip the ball that way with just the palm of your hand. It was a homer call.

Do you know what they call the guy who graduates last in his class in medical school?

Answer: Doctor

Peyton isn't in my top 7

Yeah, maybe not in my mine either.
#1 TB #2 Montana. Those 2 are indisputable.
Big dropoff to whoever is #3: I got 4 guys in the mix 3-6, not in order- Elway, Unitas, Marino, Staubach. Next is a grabbag of Favre, Brees, Young, Aikman and Peyton. So he's somewhere 7-11 imo.

Damn, I feel dumb now.

Yes, fearing the Patriots on the road this year (and now without their leading receiver in a game they'll need to put up lots of points) is a "dumb take"

They beat the Chiefs in Foxboro with plenty of James White and Sony Michel. I think they’ll go with more of that vs KC. Obviously assuming they get there.

The way the spot of the ball is determined in this sport is laughable. A ref takes the ball and places it where he 'thinks' he saw it stopped.

I don't think this Colts soft cover 2 zone will cut it against an accurate passer like Mahomes or (if Mahomes can't do it) vs. TB12.
I think they might pick off a few passes of Mahomes looking at those dropped INT's by the Raiders last week.

Our Super Bowl chances now depend on the Colts being able to upset the Chiefs in Kansas City

Sigh

Now that really is pessimistic, Pete.

That is not what you said. Your initial take was stupid.
