OT-ish: The gambling thread

$200 on the Seahawks +2 to win $381.80

Took Colts plus 3 at -140 to win 100

2 team teaser Colts plus 8 and Chargers plus 8.5 120 to win 100

Did a 25 dollar parlay to win 200 with Colts plus 2.5 (line dropped to 1.5 couldn’t buy it to 3), cowboys -.5, chargers plus 3, and bears -5.5

I promised myself after I was done with school I would no longer do math.

I took Colts ML, Chargers ML, Seahawks ML, and Eagles points. Also dabbled in a parlay for all to hit

This Texans team is so overrated. Colts look good, but Texans stink. E Z money

Cowboys -.5 -115 to win 100

The moneyline was -125. Snakes

how are you betting the spread and getting $381 when putting down $200? Even the ML wouldn't get you that return. Parlay?

I'm guessing that he's deducting the juice. lol

Nope, that's just what the Atlantis gave me.

I footballed bad today.

Haha nevermind, got the push!

I see, you’re profiting 181 but you are counting the money you fronted

Oh am I wording it backwards? Looking at your posts you seem to always say to "win $100" and I'm guessing you are wagering $100.

This thread is the only conversation I have with gamblers.

Reposted from the game thread:

I had Dallas -2. I didn’t win because Janinkowski got hurt and instead of kicking a FG or XP at the end like they normally would have, they went for TD and 2 point. So I pushed. I hate gambling.

To win 100 means x to win 100 because the vig is always different.

Getting in @ 2.5 before the drop to 2 certainly worked out for me. I was thinking at the time I was probably biting too early and the normal late Dallas money would get it up to 3 but when I saw the first offshore books starting to drop the half I jumped for fear of losing it. That was the only bet I liked this weekend but I'll take a look at the morning lines to see if there's been any helpful movement. Maybe something will pop on one of the O/U's

I don't feel any tingling in my loins for either game tomorrow. LAC/BAL seems like a pick'em in my head. And I'm just not gonna bet against Foles in the post season. So, I guess I'll get my 2 hundo back thanks to the push and wait for next week.

Sir, are you even a gambler right now? This thread is strictly for those who need quality entertainment on the games tomorrow afternoon, money be damned.

I’d have wasted money buying an extra half point up to +3. That’s how pathetically conservative I am.

Give yourself a pat on the back for your pick.
