That is one scenario of 10
If you're confident in this team based in the 13 games they've played. Then cool.

Bottom line, if you can't keep the opponent out of the end zone with only 20 seconds left, you don't deserve to win. The Pats should still win the AFC East but will most likely not get a bye and will be playing one of the wild card teams, with a loss in either the Divisional or AFC Championship round most likely. A veteran team like this should not be making so many mistakes, the kind of mistakes you can't afford to make in the playoffs.
Just a pathetic performance. Defense is putrid. Pittsburgh will hang 50+ on them next week. Offense gets 2 field goals all 2nd half, putrid. How many times inside the 10 yard line and nothing but field goals, or nothing at all. And who was shocked to lose by 1 by missing an extra point.
The win vs KC seems like a mirage now. That was the high point of the season. I expect a blow out loss vs Pittsburgh, THAT offense against THIS defense. Pitt is gonna kill us. The team showed their true selves in this game. Just not a championship caliber team. Belichick, the king of the 2nd half adjustments, got out coached in the 2nd half.
I expect a 1 and done in the playoffs. Poor drafting has killed the continuity chances for this franchise as a championship caliber franchise . Terrible defense, so slow and inept, no Gronk or Brady replacements in sight. Last 5 years worth of multitudes of draft picks wasted by not actually using the picks, and instead trading for future picks, that will eventually be used for trades for future picks. Seems like a viscous cycle that never ends. As good players that the Pats could’ve used, wind up on other teams. Just extremely frustrating, as you can literally see it cause the end of the dynasty.
All negativity aside, it has been amazing to watch this almost 20 year run, just sad to see opportunities missed, as we know Brady’s days are numbered.
I can name like 40 other positions that are a problem, too lolThe line is more of a problem

Exactly what did he say that is flame stoking ? Maybe we should just give out 2h suspensions to everyone who lashes out instead. You know.. to calm them down.

Beat CHI, NY, BUF on the road.
This team is not as loaded as prior years but it doesn't mean they can't win the SB.
I was under the impression that your claim was that “they’ve done it before,” meaning that they’ve gone to the SB without having the bye. Apologies if that wasn’t the debate.Moving what goal posts?
What is the debate?
This team has the talent to win but lacks the desire and will to do so. But these things are flukes. Honestly, last year, they should have lost that game against the Steelers on as bad of a play as this.
This team plays one way at home and another way on the road. Never seen anything so dramatic as this team.
Awful angles too. They all crashed inside and nobody stayed back or took the cutback lane.I agree. Even though I obviously get why on paper you'd like to have someone with the size of Gronk there for a jump ball. Except there was no danger of a jump ball in this situation really.
That being said the way the play went is a once in a million situation. So this entire thing is another red herring for me that takes away attention from the absurdly awful tackling and general spacing on the play. I can't wait to see the A22 for that.
That's why you don't put Gronk out there. What the ****?
You don't want your hobbled offensive player trying to make a game-saving tackle. There was no way Tannehill could've gotten the ball to the endzone from there.
Massive failure by Belichick. If that was a defensive player, we might win that game.
What an awful display of coaching on how to handle that situation.
Wouldn't shock me if Steelers fans are dreading next week as well. We've seen the Pats lose to inferior teams before only to go on the road and beat a more talented team later on. Next week will tell us a lot about this team.
Yes they willBears are good but NY and Buffalo are jokes. This team is not going to beat a good team on the road in the playoffs.
Ultimately the game was won. It was won. And we somehow gave it away.Yeah, if only Brady had more weapons and a better OL to score maybe more than 6 points in the entire second half. Right ?
They are one of the best 4 teams in this league so why not be confident ?
