Part of me wonders if the NFL Gestapo looked at it and reasoned that she provoked him and in a twisted way rationalized Hunt was defending himself.

The problem is at the end of the video when shes clearly dazed and defenseless, he kicks her in the leg.

Its not Ray Rice bad but still bad.

I try not to compare it in levels. To me there's no place for it. the kicking her while she was down was completely uncalled for. The only thing I'm borderline about is the pre-emptive shove since she was slowly about to get up in his face, even then he should have walked away and called security. Everything after that I feel like he crossed the line.

I mean, I know we go through this every time when you bring up these arguments, but of course it's the NFL's business. This incident damages their image. If a video like this comes out, and they don't do anything about it until the legal process is complete (which may never happen) then they risk losing revenue from the general public who believes that they're condoning this behavior.
