Week 10 TNF Panthers - Steelers

It'd be hilarious if they fell apart completely the moment Leveon Bell stepped into the locker room.
Bell ain't coming back.

My biggest concern is their run blocking. James Conner is very good but their O-line is arguably the best in the league right now. Our secondary is good but I don't know if our D-line can contend with that.

We do have very good CBs though. I'm okay with Gilmore on Smith-Schuster and JJones/JMac and DMac bracketing Brown. Hell the way Gilmore is playing right now I might even gamble having Gilmore on an island against Brown.

Otherwise game went about as expected. Our O-line definitely won't melt down like Carolina's did and we have better weapons overall. I'm fine if the Steelers want to have a shootout with Brady.

Looking like a typical Steeler season
-Chaos in the beginning
-Get a little streak going with their strong offense even more st Heinz
-Beat a good team mid season
-Pats will whoop that ass
-They'll focus on the Pats rematch and lose in the divisional round

Rinse snd repeat

You know, for the most part, when an AFC team has played a NFC team, the AFC wins.

Yeah, the Pats never play well in Pittsburgh.
Serious?

Including playoffs, as a starter Tom is 6-2 in ****tsburgh

Hopefully that's sarcasm. Tommy owns the Squealers in Poopsburgh.

Steelers have been pretty consistent at Heinz and they usually ketchup to the Conference leaders mid season before they bottle it.

Yes, we own PITT.

Yes, Roth had one of the very best games of his career with 5 TD's and 3 incompletions, and this against a reasonably good defense.

Pitt is dangerous.

As of today, Conner has 1158 combined rushing and receiving yards. 11 TDs and 5-100 yard rushing games. I hope that Bell does not go back because those 2 RBs in the backfield would wreak havoc.

NE is due for a loss in Pitt so I would not be counting my clams before digging.

And Bell needs to decide whether to play the last half of the year for $6M. And yes, PITT has the cap space.

Brown didn’t went over 100?

Doesn’t Bell need to report / play by week 10 so he can consider a year of his contract being fulfilled? If he doesn’t report, he will be in a never ending contract loop with the Steelers.

Le'veon Bell: what did this guy accomplish, besides:
- Not playing football
- Losing millions of dollars
- Pissing off team mates, coaches and fans
- ****ing up future negotiations with the rest of the league
- Validating his replacement in Connor.

Did I miss anything? He's winning this, right?

(edit: Ian's software didn't like a British term I used.)

There is no loop. This years counts as PITT putting a franchise tag on him. It will cost them about $25M next year to force him to play.

He is likely to sign the tag this week (he's in Pittsburgh). Unless he is injured, this will help him in his negotiations with others in the offseason. PITT would get a 2020 3rd rounder.

Bell took the risk that PITT couldn't win without him. PITT is doing just fine. So, Bell took half a year off and lost $6M. I don't know whether he will he be worth more or less in 2019 after taking a half year off. He certainly will be better rested going into the playoff run this year.

If I'm an owner I'm not giving bell a contract with guaranteed money. If he's willing to sit out and LOSE money, you better believe he'd be willing to sit out when hes already got guaranteed money.

Can the owners rescind the offer?
