What?? The final replay CBS showed as they announced JAX had won the challenge clearly showed White’s knee down and the ball short of the 19.
I did not think it was that definative

That was a great play nailing Bortles before he could get the first. The strip sack also.

But I tell ya...that sinking feeling watching Bortles outside the pocket with no Patriots defender anywhere close to account for him.

3 different times Devin McCourty saw Bortles running (past the line of scrimmage) and turned to run after the guy he was supposed to be covering (3 yards away).

I attribute that to the DL rushing too far up basically giving bortles all the room he needed to scramble to run or extend the play for a pass.

I love Josh as a coordinator but today was not a good one from him. Our long FG drive I think he messed up by getting away from what worked for us that entire time which was a heavy use of James White.

I didn't like it when he stubbornly wasted a series with the intent of getting Michel acclimated with like three straight runs.

This team needs another big piece either on offense or defense. Frankly i wish it was on defense. This d line is soft as nails.

They need more than 1 each.

RB
WR
#2 CB
LB

Back up Right tackle that can start cause Cannon can’t stay healthy and Waddle just S****.

First half was not a good half for Josh McDaniels. That 3rd and 5 run near midfield, already down a score, was inexcusable.

I felt bad for Devin getting stuck 1 on 1 against the rb grant late in the game. He may be going on IR soon with those broken ankles.

He always has 1 or 2 games were he gets Brainfartinideous.

It was 24-13. 2 score game with plenty of time left. Going for it inside their own 20 is a high risk, low reward move.
Well they had the opportunity for a first down on the punt, so in hindsight it was the right move. With all the screw ups in the game though I think it was one of the rare occasions going for it on 4th and inches that deep in your own territory was at least defensible.

Also, with all the talk about touching the guy as he crossed, wasn't there also an opportunity to snap the ball while he was over the line (the long snapper was looking right at him)?

Find a single post from me claiming the defense played.well. I dare you.

Until then have fun moving the goal posts.

I'm not moving any goalposts. Your posts are there for all to see. It's not as if I'm the only one pointing out what you've written.

But you just keep on keeping on. I'll keep laughing.

ABSOLUTELY. I was shocked they didn’t snap it as soon as the guy jumped. Instead they just stayed still and pointed at him (was the snapper one of the pointers?). WTF.

I bet stafford will be happy to see the patriots defense come to town.

Yup, and your point is? Pretty sure 30 other nfl fan bases would have loved to ***** about their team playing in the Super Bowl
maybe read through the string of threads i was responding to ?

someone said the defense was bad just like last year....to which someone responded we got run over in 1st game of last year, implying defense got significantly better by end of year, to which i responded we got run over at end of year.

no one *****ed about our team playing in Super Bowl.

After that embarrassing performance defensively they needed to go big. They went after a guy who hasn’t lived up to the hype and a guy who got half his sacks against the cowboys.
