Are we on to Houston yet?

No Pats fan should sh!t on Corrente after last year (at least until he does something with sh!tting on). He was the ref for the Seferian-Jenkins fumble/touchback and the Jesse James no-catch

Panthers last year was Boger, he's absolute sh!t and clearly a sh!tdell fixer

If you believe the bolded (that the on-field product is fixed and there is some conspiracy from the top down to referee games in ways that hurt the Pats), why are you watching the games? Makes zero sense. Furthermore, the last sentence of your first paragraph and the last five words of your second paragraph do not logically compute. Either the conspiracy involves all the refs (since it's coming from the top-down) or there isn't one. So which one is it?

Caring this much about my opinion on refs

Caring this much about my opinion on refs

I don’t really care. I just think it’s hilarious. Maybe stop and think a little in the future before putting opinions without any logic or reason out there for public consumption?

Wow... Game 1. Lots of posts with legit concerns about the defense, wrs, OL,. but game 1 usually defies logic in that it often is a projection of preseason rather than a refined representation of a team.

With this in mind, I point to coaches and system structure which prepares a team for this first test with the advantage usually going to belichick and his staff. Also weighing in my mind is home field crowd and possible home field officiating. These effects can snowball a game in pats favor with a few big plays, calls, etc.

Offense I will be looking for some new wrink!es (hopefully 1st rounder Michel) or Patterson making plays off short high percentage passes that get ball out of Brady's hands. James white and gronk also. Texans pass rush is legit so gotta chip and run the ball to get them backing up.

Defense is what I want to see. Tough to expect Watson to play as perfect as last year especially coming off injury, and new wrinkles will be tossed at him also. Pats D has lots of new pieces to implement different schemes while " spinning the dial" of looks to hopefully confuse the young QB. Hopkins is a beast but I'm not overly impressed by the rest of Houston offense. We shall see.. my prediction has flipped from a low scoring contest to pats unleashing their offensive weaponry while controlling Texans... Therefore comfy big win..... IMO

I think we will see a fair amount of 2TE sets. Chip to help OL and due to lack of WR depth.

Coolade nailed it again..^^^^^^

I mean...you listed half the offense as being 'factors' (including Michel who didn't play), predicted the Patriots would 'chip' and 'have to run the ball' (which they didn't, they only ran the ball in the second half to kill clock) said Watson would play 'perfect', and he wasn't close to it, and predicted both a close win and a big win.

So, sure. Nailed it.

Lol... Didn't see your predictions.. although if your predictions are like your reading comprehension of my post....

Predicting new wrinkles on offense in Week 1 is about as ballsy as it gets.

Yup.. but also it's factual since Brady at 41 has new wrinkles but he uses creams from Alex to counteract that.
