I cannot understand why Brady puts up with having to do this dumb interview. Maybe he's trying to set it up so that he can walk away. I didn't listen this time, but I happened to be going around the dial LAST time Brady hung up on them, when one of the fools said something rude about Brady's five year old daughter (that she was an entitled brat or something, when she had been in a camera shot for all of 5 seconds and was seen smiling and jumping around).

Today on Dale and Keefe they were discussing Brady's call and I texted them suggesting that maybe the "Annoying little pissant" was a factor in Brady ending the interview today abruptly. Crickets.

Smith is dead wrong this time. The issue hear ISN'T whether those idiots had a right to ask Brady the question. They had EVERY right to ask the question. The point here is that Brady has EVERY right not to answer the question.

What they DON'T have a right to do is badger the guy when he tells them TWICE (very politely btw) that he isn't going to talk about that particular subject. When they try and breach the topic for a 3rd time, Brady had every right to walk away from them.

Of course, those sleazeballs are thrilled because their abhorrent behavior will get them thousands of clicks and retweets, which are the currency of today's sports media.

I don’t take it issue with questions about Guerrero. Brady has a public business with him. It’s got to be expected. But Kirk was wrong to keep asking. Brady made it clear he wasn’t answering. Should have moved to the next question.

And yes, Ray Lewis killed a guy....maybe 2.

As I posted earlier thats my problem with the exchange. Tom is paid-for guest. You don't badger paid-for guests when the guest politely asks you to move on.

The third time to the well... that's just Kirk proving that he's not about to let Brady dictate the direction. "I'm the star of this show, and I'm not afraid of Tom Brady."

It's the state of the media, not just here, but everywhere. Kirk inserted himself into the story, and then classlessly continued to beat the dead horse, knowing Brady wasn't going to talk about it. Now the story isn't about whatever else Brady said in that interview, which I am sure was very innocuous. Now it's about Minihane and "click here to hear Tom Brady hang up on Kirk", all the while being subjected to ads for Jimmy Dean Sausage and Cars For Kids. I'm sure the post show afternoon meeting was spent counting click thrus and impressions.

I hear you. Minihane was wrong to go to the well a 3rd time. It’s a fine line they have to walk. Brady hanging up puts them in the news and gets some extra clicks, but Brady is also a meal ticket for their show and they don’t want to lose him.

I’m in Vancouver and the only reason I know of the show is because I wanted to hear Brady’s weekly interview, so I started listening on the app. I liked the show so I listen quite often. Best part about listening off the app is no commercials and I can pick the segments that interest me.
