I think the ol was so beaten up it wouldn’t have mattered.

The classic was the QBs lifting his leg. I’ve seen the G tap the center as a trigger.
The head bob makes a lot of sense because it’s easier to see for all players.
The offense as a whole was ravaged by that point in the season but I was extremely impressed and even some Broncos fans were, too, at the fact that Brady got his ass beat all game long and we were still a missed PAT or two point conversion from overtime. That awful inability to adjust the snap count for whatever reason (that reason I'm still not clear on) definitely tipped the scales

I mean you can look at the ball and the center's head at the same time they're like 3 feet apart /shrug
Exactly, so arguing “see they are looking at Storks head” is dumb.

The point is, they didn't vary it. They kept the exact same cadence that allowed Von Miller to get in a real good rhythm the ENTIRE game.

No the point is that you are wrong that Belichick allowed googs to coach however he wanted and it caused a tell.

Nobody did anything to disrupt that rhythm and force Von Miller to become cautious.

Whose fault is that? Brady? McDaniels? And whose fault was it ultimately, if those two didn't do anything about it?

You argue that BB is a micromanager. If he was a micromanager, he would have done something about it.
Do you even understand what micromanager means?
It doesn’t mean he is perfect, all knowing and catches every mistake.
It means he focusses in the details trying to make sure they are being done the way he wants them done. It doesn’t mean everything is perfect.

Ultimately everything is Belichicks credit or fault.
But to expect your 20 year veteran qb to remember to vary the snap count is not asking a lot.

Every time there is a silent count there is a head bob. Hali timing it up is no different than getting a jump on a verbal count.
Cadence or trigger are cues, but hey don’t dictate when the snap is, the count does.

The point, ultimately, is that a lot goes on in a game, that's why you have a coaching staff in football. No one person can oversee or run everything at once. As a HC, you have to trust your OC, DC, and your QB to do their jobs, and your OL coach to do his job. You can't do it for them.

You are saying it is not Guge's fault, but he is the one who got fired.

Unless someone knows why exactly Stork was incapable of snapping the ball outside of a 1 count I am not sure anyone can place blame on anyone specifically. I am leaning towards Gug and in the sense that BB typically takes responsibility (personally) for the team's shortcomings, some of it is on him for that. I still can't fathom a scenario in which the center can physically walk on to the field, snap the ball, and block, but is incapable of going outside of a 1 count. There's a huge gap in logic there imo

No, you're twisting things as you always do.

The point is that I believe that BB hires coaches that he thinks he can trust, and just lets them do their job, just as he did with Scar, and with Guge. Guge didn't do his job, so he got fired.

You argue that it's ultimately BB's fault because he's a micromanager. I disagree with you. Nobody can micromanage a football team during the course of a season. That's too much and counterproductive.

Do you even understand what micromanager means?

A micromanager is someone who tries to control every little detail of an enterprise or operation. So if BB was micromanaging, then it is his fault, period. If he delegated the task of eliminating tell (again, Von Miller's words) to someone else, then it's not his fault.

Von Miller is the one who said he was looking at Stork's helmet. How many times do I have to say it?

We are getting way off point.

The original point is that I do not think BB micromanages. He will let the various coaches do their job, including Flores.

I think that Flores will be calling a more aggressive defense than Patricia did. This does not mean that Flores is going to pull a Ryan on BB and call blitz after blitz.

But neither will he have the players play on their heels and give 10 yard cushions.

He wasn’t incapabke is snapping on other than a 1 count. Plays were called on other counts, it’s just that they called 1 so often it was easy to guess the snap count. Same thing would have happened on a verbal count.
Nfl DL try hard to anticipate.

Soooooo... if that was ultimately Brady’s fault, then why didn’t we see anything like that in the years leading up to those games and anything like it in the years since Guge was replaced? Something seems off about that argument. Almost like someone took the stance that it wasn’t Guge’s fault in the immediate wake of the game and then Guge was essentially told to take a hike and said poster got left with his **** in his hand. Instead of maybe just admitting that you were off and you might need to learn more about OL play and silent counts, I guess it’s easier to just dig your heels in with logical fallacies galore.

Does tommy ever leave Guerrero at home? It’s amazing to me that the guy’s always behind his tail. I hope gisele doesn’t get jealous.

I'm pretty sure Guerrero being on the plane has something to do with a headbob, silent count, and an overly aggressive Flores.

Oh, and a micromanager fits into it all somehow.

I don't know.

Possible compromise? Part II of the crappy contract re-do from BB, with the return of Guerrero serving as the real sweetener?

I'm sure Ben Volin will get us the right answer, any second now.
Its plain to see this all means we are getting Dez.
All signs point to Dez

Thread safe yet?

Any mention of who made the flight out of the infirmary crew?

Volin is going to tweet that Guerrero micromanaged the flight while Flores aggressively dictated who sat where, openly flounting BB's philosophy of bending but not breaking seats.
