There were 15 players on the 2001 roster who were also on the 1999 roster.I would bet it was over 80% turnover.
I don’t think it was that many. Gonna look. There were 15 players on the 2001 roster who were also on the 1999 roster.
I count 13There were 15 players on the 2001 roster who were also on the 1999 roster.
Just looked. It surprised me it was that high as well.I don’t think it was that many. Gonna look.
I screwed up on Health Irwin. I thought for sure he was on the 01 team. Was not.I count 13
Troy Brown
R Rutledge

Brandon Mitchell.
Ted Johnson.
Do you have 2 others?
I think he is a good player who is still developing. Last year he was very productive finishing with more solo tackles, sacks, and run stuff than all of his career combined. I would say he is on an upswing.I’m curious as to what the consensus is around here about him.
I tend to get a very mixed vibe as to how good of a player people think he actually is.
So Glenn was suspended. That would mean opening day was 40/53 75.5% turnover.I screwed up on Health Irwin. I thought for sure he was on the 01 team. Was not.
That leaves Terry Glenn.
Especially considering what little we gave up to acquire him.KVN has worked out.
Yes,there's definitely some hope there, but also truth. You're confusing hope with fact.

You gotta admit that at this point, it looks reasonable to think Pat's D will be better than last year's. How much better? Too soon to tell. But better. That's all I was saying.
Nah.... You were saying a lot more than that. You were belittling Butler's play, yet he and Gilmore would still be the best 2 CBs on the team if here were here again this year. You also glossed over the fact that Hightower was on the team last year, etc...
It's fine, and good, to hope. I just don't see the need to massage the facts in order to do it.
" Massage the facts"? Really? Exactly which facts did I massage?
Did we have Hightower for most of the season, especially at playoff time?
Do you not think it's reasonable to think the D will be better this year?
As for MButler, there's been no bigger supporter of him on this board than myself. I defended him time and again.
For most of his time here, he was a major asset. Probowler. Even last season, through the 1st quarter of the season,he was our best cb,while Gilmore struggled.
But are you also denying the he did NOT play well over the FINAL quarter of the season?
I believe he will get back to probowl form with tenn. Pat's simply could not afford to pay him.
Belittle him? Don't think so,pal. I was telling the truth.
Butler was still good enough. He played well in the second half against the jags not to mentioned the game against the crappy titans in the playoffs.
KVN is, in the words of Thurston Howell III, all say and no do.
