This is such infuriating ********. Players get paid to play here. To claim that a team which year in and year out spends at or very near the cap isn’t paying guys is absurd. I know you guys are just regurgitating crap that other people are throwing out there but if these players really feel that they are being low balled, then maybe they should go to their fellow team mates and hold out a hand. See if they’ll be willing to hook them up. People act like this team is sitting on millions upon millions every year.

It’s very easy to keep morale up when you are winning. A devastating loss and people reflect on the sacrifices. Pats went to 4 Super Bowls in a 7 year period from 01-07, they only lost that last one. That group of guys never won a again and it took 7 years after that to get another championship.

Right now a good chunk of these guys are experiencing a devestating loss and reflecting on whether it’s worth it to spend a few more years putting up with the negatives

I’m not sure that I believe in this theory any longer, particularly since Brady seems to be having similar thoughts, or at least making strong suggestions and hints that he isn’t especially happy. There are issues there, both in pay rate for both players, as well as some other issues that need to be worked out.

At any rate, I think this “oh, they’re just trolling us” thought has passed. Just my opinion.
