2018 Combine

A little surprise that Evans didn't run the drills. Is he concerned about his speed?

Lewis showing up well. Sweat almost hitting 40" just as he promised. He was REALLY close to hitting his promised 40 and the vertical and broad jumps.

Once again, a couple of guys on my short list showing up well in Lewis, Sweat, and Aruna.

Yeah, he’s probably going to be a Pat

2018 NFL Draft Profile: JUSTIN REID

Reid is what teams are looking for at the safety position in 2018. He's a plus size/speed prospect who has the athletic ability to help with man coverage and the instincts and ball skills for ball-hawking duties on the back end. Reid can get himself into some trouble when he's overly aggressive, but his positive plays far outweigh the negative. He has the talent to become an early starter and a good one. Reid's instincts and play traits should make him a safe selection with Pro Bowl potential down the road.

Great time for my man Burks. Oh, and @Snooky97 your guy just vaulted into the first with that 40. Wow Carter!!

Bloody hell, didn't think he was that quick.. He's definitely a late 1st early 2nd now.. was hoping he fall to the 3rd/4th..

Going to have to find his tape of the 40, as i was out..

Hmmm. Eyebrows raised. He also got rave reviews for the on field part of his testing.

Also: Shaquem Griffin's floor is what...Matt Slater? A special teamer, team captain and locker room inspiration. What's the ceiling?

Okay, some details slowly emerging. Aruna, for all his straight line explosion, can't maintain that speed while changing direction. He's a bit high-cut and leggy. Green is growing on me as a hybrid inside/outside guy. Pretty athletic for someone who primarily played DT in college. I also really like his teammate Nwosu.

EDIT: BJ Hill with the exceptional 3-cone for a #320 man. Impressive athlete.

Yeah, Hubbard should appeal to us with the Schiano connection. I like Lewis the best of the Ohio State guys, but he may be a bit linear. Hubbard can sustain his speed and movement.

Ceiling for Griffen? Bruce Irvin. His speed of the edge is simply too much for a lot of tackles to handle consistently. They might keep up okay, but one miscalculation, and he's getting a free shot at the QB. He's incredibly explosive.
