Wow. Before I spent that kind of cash I would build a frame over my treadmill and rig up some kind of adjustable support harness. They do look good though.

I can tell you this. If they'd had these 30, 20 or even 15 years ago, I'd have found a way to pay whatever it cost. Today, unfortunately, with changed priorities, it's going to have to go on the list of post-lottery-win purchases.

But that 30 minute rental thing interests me, if it comes with PT help working on the gait/balance problem. I'll be looking into it next week.

@supafly

Here's CNet talking about it in 2014

Lower price brings antigravity treadmill down to earth

The website doesn't give a price, and the prices I can find are outdated by a few years, but it's a hefty ($20K+ up into the $7ok+ range) tag, and I don't have that much under my seat cushions. The site has a locator though, where you can find them according to your zip code, and you can apparently pay for 30 minute sessions.

Anti-Gravity Treadmill | Bionic Leg | AlterG

There are actually a bunch of locations in my area, so I'm going to look into it.
Thank you very much. I’m going to check out the 30 minute sessions for sure.

Edit: it looks like there are a ton of them in my area. I appreciate it.

My pleasure.

Now, if Sr's comment was from 10 years ago (like I said, I don't remember the timeline) then I freely admit my speculation is almost certainly wrong. But if it was in the past 5 years I'm not as willing to concede that.

Jan. 2015 was when it was reported.

I asked my guy about it at physical therapy this afternoon and he was absolutely clueless.

I scoffed, turned my nose up and dreamt of better days. I’m a new man now, armed with new technology. :D

I hope you find that it's something helpful (and affordable) for you.

Thank you. I’m hoping to make some calls next week to see if there’s any possibility of switching my physical therapy sessions over to one of the places that offer that service so I can use my insurance to reduce the cost, but I’m skeptical.

I’m hoping that I can find something that I can afford, which honestly, would limit me to a couple/few hundred extra bucks a month. Even one session every week or every couple of weeks would likely be beneficial.

Edit: looks like a better deal than I thought. You can get three 30 min sessions for 50 bucks, so I can almost go every other day for the 200 dollar budget that I was trying to get under. Win/win.

Gronkowski is mauled each and every play he goes downfield. If he even touches
the defender, offensive interference is called.

Yep. He may think Belichick is a pain in the ass but imo the reports on him feeling “ singled out” and “ persecuted” are about the league and officials.

Anything you can do now to make your quality of physical life better between now and decades later when you're a geezer like some of us here is worth it. Just Do It!
I'm lucky as a geezer to still have trivial pain issues despite joints that shock the Docs in a Sammy Blue Cat scan.

I've got a bum knee - I'm going to give that a try, too. Thanks!

Also, next week, I'm doing some new therapy that's big out here in SoCal: you get into a cryo tank up to your neck and they freeze you for a minute or so. People here are swearing by it. It's pretty pricey, but my wife gave me a session for my birthday.
