They feel like they conquered the world by beating the pats.
Patriots dull? Not this year, fer sure.It is just a reflection of different values. I'm fine with teams having different values than the Pats, and for teams to have lots of diversity among their players in that regard. It makes the world interesting.
And I have to remind myself how young some of these guys are. The brain doesn't finish setting up rational thinking and impulse control until age 25. Some of these guys are still on learner's permits with their brains, and as professional athletes have immense temptation and scrutiny.
I appreciate the discipline the Pats bring. It does get a bit dull at times as a fan, compared to other teams that allow more influence of pop culture. But the winning sure does make up for that.
Who gives a f**k what a known PED user thinks
Agree. It *may* have come from those guys, but that hardly represents majority opinion.
He claims the Patriots are “no fun.” Well, do you think they’re having fun in Cleveland, New York or Chicago? I doubt there’s a single player on any of those teams who wouldn’t love to be here instead (except maybe QB because that guy would not play).
I don't understand how this is one of the best tackling teams in the league all year long, and then after one poor effort, we're questioning the methodology that has brought us to 8 Super Bowls and 5 wins.
That's what benching your awesome tackling starting CB gets you.
Oh Lane (who the hell names their kid Lane?) just a suggestion, you may have won the Super Bowl but if I were you you might want to work on that "vaunted" Eagle defense. I mean, we pretty much scored on you at will and you applied no pressure...
Especially when they are already $7 million OVER the cap for this coming year. They went all in essentially and it worked out but let’s see what happens when cuts Occur and guys clamor for more money and coaches Difillippo and Reich leave...Philly is going to learn how hard it is to stay on top once you’ve been there. Awful lot of one hit wonders in the last 20 years of Super Bowl Champions.
Eagles player says Patriots are run by fear and he would be miserable playing for them
This idiot thinks fans employ the players so that they can have fun on the pitch. No. We fans pay (by funding) the players to perform a job. That job being to make our team win and entertain us NOT them.
These eagles are really starting to piss me off. I was fine after SB52 but they keep hooting and hollering and its beginning to grate mightily.
IF IT HAD BEEN ANY OTHER TEAM (xcept the steelers)
Diversity & pop culture, merely for their own sakes, suck.It is just a reflection of different values. I'm fine with teams having different values than the Pats, and for teams to have lots of diversity among their players in that regard...

They won the big game and had a spectacular season even overcoming the loss of their QB. Given that context, why would Johnson say anything else ? Lets see how things look on that fun team in a year..
