It is just a reflection of different values. I'm fine with teams having different values than the Pats, and for teams to have lots of diversity among their players in that regard. It makes the world interesting.

And I have to remind myself how young some of these guys are. The brain doesn't finish setting up rational thinking and impulse control until age 25. Some of these guys are still on learner's permits with their brains, and as professional athletes have immense temptation and scrutiny.

I appreciate the discipline the Pats bring. It does get a bit dull at times as a fan, compared to other teams that allow more influence of pop culture. But the winning sure does make up for that.

Everyone will talk about 4th and 1 forever. But it was 3rd and 3 at the Eagles 37-yard line when Richards went inside instead of out, and got beat for a 55-yard gain. Never mind that if he goes outside, that's an easy stop and get the ball back. Even if he was a bit sloppy with the tackle and gives up a 1st, we might hold to a FG instead. But no.
