In Bob and Jonathan's interview with NFL Network they both said that Brady "has earned the right" to decide when to leave. They also acknowledged that there has been "tension" but deny there is any "dysfunction".

Nothing earthshattering, but it does seem to confirm what's been said/implied in the Wickersham piece and others that Brady's fate is out of Belchick's hands.

Why can't Bob just take a page from his coach and QB's book and shut his mouth about this internal stuff? All he is doing here is lending credence to Wickersham's piece.

And yeah he has every right to but it doesn't mean he should.

Just about every word out of this guy's mouth since 2015 has hurt the team's PR.

Yeah I don't hate Kraft as much as some people on this forum....but don't talk about this **** three days before the Super Bowl please.

Actually Jonathan said it not Bob but when Andrea asked Bob if TB and BB would be back next year he said "I appreciate the question but I'm not going to answer, you'll have to see for yourselves". I liked that answer better.

Kraft has said that BB will be the coach in 2018.

So what's the problem? This isn't some covert CIA op, for crying out loud.

This would be worrisome with other players but with Brady you just know that he will retire when he cant play up to his own ridiculously high standards anymore. It would go against everything we know about him to see him on the field being a zombie like Manning was in 15 and 16.

If a tongue can be of silver, then silence is golden

No reason to say this. The general midia are blood smelling sharks when it comes to the Patriots' problems. Thank god BB keeps the ship straight, it's a shame he doesnt have control over his coward employer

Same BB who's said he'll be back to coach next year? Why did he have to go public with that? Why couldn't he have just said that he'd have it on the injury report?

BB needs to have control over BB, because BB's loose lips are going to ruin the organization!

Found this interesting heard it on a promo during omf for the morning show kinda throws the whole wickersham story down the drain if you believe alex

For some reason it is hard to envision Bill laughing and high fiving over it. I like to believe it though.

No it doesn’t imply at all that anything Wickersham said is accurate.

How is it giving credence?

If BB, TB, and/or JG were in on a scam to feed him that BS, I could certainly imagine it.
