Yes!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder who in the organization makes the decision about which uniform to wear, or how this decision is made, as I'm sure Belichick himself couldn't give 2 5hits about the color.

I think Bill will do anything to troll his opponent. The fact that the pats are wearing the same jersey color as they did when they beat the eagles last time in the SB is no coincidence.

True. He's probably well aware and superstitious similar to the white vs Dallas at home all the time.

NYG with Tuna used to do that too.

IIRC, he was wearing the red hoodie at the post-game presser after the AFCCG.

Unless he’s embracing the idea that this is much more of a road game than a home one, which will certainly be true regardless of Philly players mocking the hometown Vikings, which has little relevance on the fan attendance or rooting interests of someone who actually pays a lot of money and goes to the Super Bowl. It’s still “us against the world,” and this may be a strong reminder.

Also, we had a pretty nice road streak going up until the week 14 loss at Miami, so there’s that factor to add on.

No question.

Psychological warfare at it's best

That road game mentality actually makes sense. I can see BB using the white jersey as a reminder that they are on the road, and it's an 'us against the world' mentality.

This is all pure speculation but I think the Patriots chose white because the Eagles organization remembers watching New England win 49 and 51 in those white jerseys and they love to intimidate their opponent. I can’t remember which media pundit said it but they said something like, “When New England is behind they believe they are going to come back and win the game but the important thing is the opponent is also believing New England is going to come back and win the game.” This Eagles team has not been to the Super Bowl they haven’t played in the bright lights outside their stadium and when they line up across from New England Belichick wants Philly to remember who they are playing and put any amount of fear and doubt into their heads.

It’s a mental edge maybe. Many players are superstitious as hell, I’d elect white just so they could focus on the real problem
