We can win with a thumb,
We can win with a bum,
We can win from Brady's foyer,
We can win with a Hoyer.

To all the doubters shedding a tear,
I say, "Get the H outta here",
Because come two weeks time,
Brady's digit will be as strong
As three thumbs plus nine.

So stitches on a cut to his knuckle... could be worse tbh. Whoever it was that his throwing hand hit to the buckle of the helmet (White/Burkhead/Gillislee)... man you gotta be more careful. Friendly fire.

Yes, Tom Brady, master of mental focus and who absolutely genuine about not doing lesser things or being a petty person, would orchestrate a fake injury and ring up an old teammate to sell it.
lesser things like like troll the media?

Hope that's true. Hopefully after all this is over, we will get some clues into how an injury like that even happens. Brady's played so many games and so many practices and we've never heard of this type of injury to his hand.
There is no way that the knuckle cut Felger described is accurate. Why the hell would Brady miss practice all week for that?

And why wouldn't Bruschi be in on it? I can see him totally following suit.

Brady: Tedy, can you fan the flames on this?
Bruschi: Hold my beer.

absolutely...and as we speak, cimini
from espn ny is on espn boston writing trollwork on reiss’s page.

has reiss ever written for espn ny and trolled the jets? because there certainly has been enough material through the years to do that.

just asking....

So, to consolidate all of the reports, Brady had a cut on his knuckle requiring 4 stitches, a serious cut to a finger requiring 12 stitches, a splint on his thumb, and a dislocation that left bones sticking out through the flesh of his fingers. Also, he wears gloves.

Did I miss anything?

absolutely. shocked to see people take the media cheese here...then again, some also did with other espn lies and misrepresentations, too.

bruschi is very disappointing

I think Bruschi's out of the loop on this one, and he's legitimately worried.

Thursday was a whole week now? It may have seemed like it, but no...

Yeah people who think this is an elaborate troll are nuts. It wastes too much mental energy to make this all up and creates a distraction (not to mention Brady missed practice -- do people think that's trolling too?). This is way different than "Let's list Brady on the injury report as Probable (Shoulder)".

Presumably throwing a football, and the rotational torque that puts on the hand/wrist/thumb could pontetially stretch the skin, leading to the stitches tearing, thus delaying the healing process.

If it is a cut, I'd imagine the goal is to get that wound as healed as possible by Sunday, ideally to the point that Brady doesn't have to worry about reopening the wound and gushing blood during the game.

If he hasn't had the stitches removed by Sunday I'd be curious if he wears a glove during the game.

I think we win no matter what.

#* aside, I'm having trouble envisioning a team that got 3 wins last year and coached by Doug Marrone coming into Foxborough and beating the Pats in the AFCCG regardless of who the f*ck we start at QB.

Brady's bloody glove....soon to be in the HOF like Schilling's sock was.
There's another guy with dibs on the bloody glove thing.

You forgot he's been playing with a fractured hand all season...
