Felger just said that he has a trustworthy source that says the injury is not a fracture or ligament damage, it was a bad cut on one of his knuckles that required 4 stitches. Should not affect him.

Felger spent about a decade on the Pats beat and has legit connections so don’t just be a wise ass.

I want to believe it, at least partially, but I don't see how a cut would hold him out of practice (yesterday). Regardless, I firmly believe he will play Sunday, and will look like his good old self.

Felger with the news scoop...?

Felger on Brady injury: “No fracture. No ligament. Just a cut from hitting the buckle on someone’s helmet. Four stitches around the knuckle, should not affect him.

^^^Consider the source and the vermin relaying it, but still.

Hope that's true. Hopefully after all this is over, we will get some clues into how an injury like that even happens. Brady's played so many games and so many practices and we've never heard of this type of injury to his hand.

Who is his source? Why aren’t the beat guys following up with this and saying that this is how he got hurt? You also don’t need stitches for bumping into the buckle. Too many questions to believe this. It sounds good but it also sounds like an end of the Week tease for a radio show.

I don’t buy that anyone inside the Pats organization would give this hater Felger a scoop.

poor mike is unhappy bb moved on
I don't think that's accurate. He still talks glowingly of BB every other second on his podcast. Just because someone has a slightly more concerned take doesn't mean they have an agenda, you know.

He did pick Pittsburgh to go to the SB though, so it does mean that he's not always right.

Your first word in this post made me skip the rest. Sorry.

Thing is you have to think the reason he's probably wearing the gloves is to hide any kind of bandages, stitches, etc. I can't imagine he'd be flexing the thumb and fingers if he had any ligament damage.

After the Wickersham piece, I think Brady would go in for full on trolling. Remember they say never to prank him - he gets even and then some.
And why wouldn't Bruschi be in on it? I can see him totally following suit.

Brady: Tedy, can you fan the flames on this?
Bruschi: Hold my beer.

sky is not falling for me.. win or lose I still have to work. Also I will root just as hard for Hoyer..

dude, tap out already

my goodness

not everyone has a good ******** meter, but rely on on those who do

Hoyer with Chicago vs the Jags last year

30 of 49 302 yards

b-b-bbut this is a different Jags team

Actually the defense personnel is not that much different and they are running the same defensive system.

Also the 2017 Pats aren't the 2015 Texans....
It will be a team win with Hoyer if he plays. Bortles might puke up the game too.

Now this.

I'm going somewhere in the middle

Yes, Tom Brady, master of mental focus and who absolutely genuine about not doing lesser things or being a petty person, would orchestrate a fake injury and ring up an old teammate to sell it.

mosslost with some light Friday afternoon trolling I see.
