Hard to imagine Brady will not play unless his hand is hanging on to his wrist by a string. But on the outside chance he doesn't play or the injury becomes untenable during the game then, while that sucks the big one, it just is what it is. In comes Hoyer and then the Patriots need to find a way to win with the D stepping up even higher, Lewis-Burk-White running game, STs/field position/coverage and making the kicks (long punts-inside 20 punts, hitting the FG attempts) as well as whatever Hoyer can do. He isn't Brady, obviously, but I assume they'll have some plays that Hoyer has been working on with Brady limited. Manage the game and find a way to win.

Again I doubt Brady will not play and it sucks the big one if he doesn't, however, the Patriots will just have to find another way to skin the proverbial cat. Nothing else to say about it is there?

I’m not as concerned about Brady missing the game as I’d be about him making some poor throws, etc. Not going to overreact or anything, but I can appreciate the concern and feel it a bit, myself. We’ve seen an injury like this become the great equalizer.

That said, I’ve been rather confident about our defense stepping up and really limiting them, so hopefully that occurs.

I dunno. The whole “cut” and X-ray thing don’t really add up too much, unless they somehow went together, in which case it probably doesn’t matter how it specifically happened.

In other words, I’m not sure that I’d buy that “all it is would be a cut.” There had to have been some reason for the X-ray.

Maybe they cut off his hand so that he wouldn’t miss film study while they X-rayed it? They said he will be okay if his treatment goes well tomorrow...I assume they are referring to reattaching his hand. Either way, I’m foreseeing a huge game on Sunday from TB12.
