Interesting to think from a Colts perspective of how to balance disclosure against the risk of telling "insider" info to someone closely associated with the Patriots and who was also likely to be pursued by other rivals (e.g., the Titans). Why? Because you don’t know lucks health?
Josh has that info to use in his evaluation.
Career playoff : 9 TD, 12 INTHealthy Luck is an above-average QB. He is not elite.
He is not an INT machine.
His career is 2.6 which is not awful and was 4.1 in his injury plagued year in 2015.Career playoff : 9 TD, 12 INT
People here like Luck a whole lot more than I do. Josh might not even care about Luck. He'd be better off trying to find a GM to fool and get a few mid round picks for the INT Machine.
So you think that you know all there is to know about lucks health? God bless ya.As of 12/31 Luck was in The Netherlands and had not thrown a football yet. He said that. He also said he doesn't THINK he'll need a 2nd surgery.
If Josh has more info good for him. But based on what Luck said, I'm not banking on him being 2016 Andrew Luck at all.
Healthy luck is top 3 on wish list of who do I want to build my team around.Healthy Luck is an above-average QB. He is not elite.

He’s had a mediocre coach and the worst GM in football his entire career. He’d be talked about amongst the best in the game had he gone to Seattle. What good players has he had aside from an old Reggie Wayne, old Frank Gore and TY Hilton?People here like Luck a whole lot more than I do. Josh might not even care about Luck. Or when they interview McDaniels he asks about lucks health and they tell him.Interesting to think from a Colts perspective of how to balance disclosure against the risk of telling "insider" info to someone closely associated with the Patriots and who was also likely to be pursued by other rivals (e.g., the Titans).
I see 3 scenarios -
1. Luck is healthy. Nothing to lose in being honest about that. He's their 2018 starter, so they tell McDaniels and others that.
2. Luck isn't healthy yet, and they're worried. So, they lie / omit in discussion with McDaniels and sorta indicate he's healthy. Spin some medical reports written in German to indicate that he's not taking HGH, maybe. This prevents their in-house plans to deal with the injury from leaking out to competitors, but also seems to get things off to a very sour note if they hire a guy to run their team whom they've obviously lied to at the start - Luck will eventually show up in their building and all the cards would be on the table.
3. Luck isn't healthy yet, but they go with the opposite tactic of #2, and admit it. Same risk factor for leaking that information out, but at least they're not poisoning the relationship before it starts.
Having thought through these scenarios, #2 seems too untenable to be true. I guess my hunch is that Luck's health status will be known to the whole league soon enough that there's no reason to risk anything to pretend it's something other than what it actually is. That assumes that Luck's shoulder status is a protected secret within league circles in the first place.

Farewell Josh.
Break a leg. or something.
It doesn't excuse some of the throws he has made. Rodgers has some lousy coaching and he still covers some of that. Luck needs to cut down on turnovers.
Mullarkey has issues. His interview after he won the wild card round he was pretty wacky and inappropriate. Talking more about his family and kids being all upset about rumors and stuff. It is fine he was upset but for it to be his focus in the post game victory made him seem like a total joke to me.Titans fire their coach after making it to the divisional round. What record would Vrabel or anybody need to achieve to keep that job?
So Andrew Luck is not Brady or Rodgers. Thanks for that breaking news. Will you next shock the hell out of us by noting that he's not Drew Brees, either?
BTW, in the eyes of most people, Luck's NFL comp is Roethlisberger, because of size and style. And, with that in mind, Luck's INT% is slightly lower than Roethlisberger's.

Because Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin are better? Indy has done more to surround Luck with receiver talent than SEA did with Wilson. He’s had a mediocre coach and the worst GM in football his entire career.
