ESPN hitpiece on Patriots (Rift with Brady/Belichick/Kraft) - Merged

Anything to distract the pats. Man I hope they used this run as motivation even if it could be the last time but I doubt it. Go pats!!

We'll find out if this is a hit piece or not, as soon as the seasons over, because if the trio is breaking up, we know Kraft & Brady aren't going anywhere. Honestly, I've been losing sleep over this exact scenario since the minute JG was traded because the only logical explanation for the trade was that Kraft forced BB to make it.

How big of a disaster would it be if BB leaves after Matty P & McDaniels depart? It'll be 1997 all over again...

Why would it be 1997 all over again? They'd still have Brady, after all.

ESPN is just pure **** now. What a disgrace.

Thanks for galvanizing the patriots in time for the playoffs you bunch of morons.

Brady, Belichick, and Kraft blowing it up over petty jealousy after 17 years of building the best franchise in football based completely on team makes total sense. I’m sure it’s really well sourced and documented too. ESPN has an exceptional track record when it comes to the Patriots. They never lie, make sh.t up and smear them with it. Way too honorable for that.

And for the record I don’t believe Brady asked Kraft to trade Garrapolo, he asked him to have Belichick kill Garrapolo. That’s right, he wanted Belichick to cut Garrapolo’s nutsack off and feed them to him. And I know this because sources who played golf with a guy whose daughter knows a guy whose father played polo with Bieber said that they heard that Brady had a tantrum at the Mall of America when he couldn’t get the right sunglasses at Sunglass Hut and had the entire staff fired and the reamed Kraft a new one at Sbarro demanding Garrapolo die now.

And that’s all fact.

I know

Volin says so.

And so does Tanguay.

PFT claiming the article does NOT claim that Brady in fact demanded Kraft trade Jimmy.

People will claim this is proof of backtracking but it was the goofball Bruce Allen who reported that, so who knows. If there's smoke, there's fire..

Maybe a first and two seconds. Maybe a first and multiples the next year...

Confident teams would bid. And the haul would exceed a pick in the 40s they got for Jimmy.

Brady would bring so much publicity to those teams (Jax) or legitimate winning (Houston). They would much rather a chance of a SB to « hope in the future ».
You would give away the rest of the SBs brady has yet to win, much less give away the best QB in football for a 1st abd 2 2nds and think you got a good deal? Oh brother.

Wonder if there will be EVEN ONE named source.... Highly doubt it

Here are your sources, my insider gave me the scoop!

"Someone close to the team told me...."

"A close friend of the family said..."

"a senior official in the organization believes..."

"Our network learned from several sources familiar with the team that....."

could make an entire humor thread out of the phrases they use and will use

No. I wouldn’t. You didn’t understand.

I am saying that it is not as far fetched as some might think. You aren't in practice. You don't know how close or how far from today’s Brady Jimmy had become. None of us do.

I prefer having Brady. But I am saying that the POSSIBILITY of BB seeing enough to suggest an eventual move is not as improbable as you seem to think.

Source: ESPN readying new hit piece on Jamba Juice, Sbarro and Panda Express set to publish tomorrow morning at 8am. The topic will be a power struggle among the trio as to who deserves the most credit for Natick Mall's success.

I don't agree. Maybe a low 1st because of his A) age B) contract situation

Jimmy wanted to be traded, not because he hated Brady, but because he wants to play. Brady was not quitting - that is obvious. $25 mil was not going to keep Jimmy.

Just another attempt to subvert the playoffs and disrupt the Patriots so whatever team they are routing for may have a slim chance to gain an advantage!

Do you really think a 41 year old Brady can win a Superbowl with a run of the mil NFL coach, like John Fox?

I bet Tom would get old very quick without BB or Josh around.

Agree to disagree. Maybe you are right. I’d bet BOB in Houston would love to get chewed out near the bench in order to get his SB.
