Tomlin is a joke

Tomlin is easily the most overrated coach in the league. He’s dumber than a bag of rocks. When we play him I just sit back and wait for that moment when he ****s himself and does something stupid.

He never lets me down.

And always passes the buck.

He has only once ever called a bad play, but they overturned it upon review. :) But gotta give him props for always finding a new creative excuse to deflect blame and still not being called out on it after so many years.

Mike Tomlin: Great motivator.

Bad tactician.

Pretty simple:
1.Ben makes a T with his hands, ref will call timeout.
2.Ben wants to signal the sideline to ask whether to call timeout? Don't make the T to ask the question.
3. Before the play Tomlin can let Ben know he'll call any timeouts from the sideline.
4. Stop whining...

The Steelers have the same number of wins as the Pats with Tomlin as the coach. If he is holding them back, how much better would their record be with a better head coach?

Not calling a timeout after the 70 yard play would have cost 10 to 15 seconds to get to line, set and run a play.....

I know the situations were different but in DYJ 2014 when the entire defensive coaching staff asked BB if he wanted to take a time out vs SEA he didn't say a damn thing except, "I got it."

That is being in command of your troops

How much time would have been left if they did pass up the time out and line up and clock it? They may not have had time to run the plays they did.
Probably snapped the ball with 20 seconds to play @ 1st and goal, with a time out in your pocket....the pats could run 4 plays with that situation, with 1 play most likely clocking it to stop clock.

Huh? Since 2007 Pit has 113 wins... NE has 137...playoff wins Pit has 8....NE has 13

Tomlin is great when updating the press with team injuries

Aye. And I'm sure the other coaching staffs appreciate that heads up. I've always tried to come up with one, just one, good reason why he would do that... and I've never been able to.

I was talking about this season.

Are you going to go full Bedard and insist that the Steelers would "wipe the floor" with the Pats with a better coach?

I don't think he's holding them back. It's simply as if they play without a head coach. Same record with him as without him.

Wednesday, Ben is still talking about it. Digging more and larger holes.

Florio hilariously rips Ben here.
I have listened to this five times. Six now.
Worthy.
Fun starts at 19min30sec

I would so love to see BOBs under performing team rip them on Monday afternoon.
Steelers are primed for failure, looking backwards and ahead, blaming each other and everything. Focused on everything except Monday.
Could happen.

No but if Tomlin is as stupid and terrible as everyone here says, that would be the natural implication. Personally, I don't see how one can call Tomlin stupid after looking at his record but that's just me.
