Just Imagine if Gronk... Grassy Knoll Super Merge

I just want to quote this post to pat myself on the back.

I predicted that the media ass hats and some driveling trolls would turn this into an attempted murder comparison.

Never challenge my understanding of the melodramatic mediots and the blood lust thirst of the trivial trolls. :D

I assumed that the medias reaction to it all would start annoying me as well but what has now taken center stage is Tre'Davious White continuing to melodramatically milk the entire situation to the point where I hope that he will get his share of boos when the Bills visit Foxboro.

What a little *****... he provokes a better and stronger player throughout the entire game and then is surprised that said player might snap in the heat of the moment ? **** him..

He didn't extend his....... Oh never mind. I'm not sure why I'm so hung up on a meaningless point anyways. :D
Sorry, man. Didn’t mean to bring up a touchy subject. I think it’s safe to say that he falls forward on him with his elbow, although you’re probably right that it wasn’t necessarily outstretched like a WWE move.

This has ensured week 16 to be a must watch game when it previously may not have been. Not for football reasons, but to see Bills Mafia and their bounty gate attempts.

Gronk paid the price for his mistake and apologized publicly. I dont think he'll do anything like this again. I cant say the same for the attempts to kill each other by CIN/PIT players.

Its surprising to see some NFL network people and former players rip Gronk for a mistake pre meditated by blatant disregard for the rules of holding and DPI by the officials even though I will admit that is no excuse as two wrongs dont make a right. But is that any better or worse than Smith-Schuster who basically retaliated for Burfict's past transgressions with an "eye for an eye" mentality? Antonio Brown kept yelling "karma". To me, it seems PIT will do this again if given the chance under the same circumstances. That's where the media and some former players are wrong in their priorities IMO.

If it was a Pats player on the receiving end of what White received after said Pats player was among one of many Pats players who got away with fouling another team's star player, I for one wouldn't have been as outraged. But that's just me.

I was just kidding around and kind of poking fun at myself. The end result was the same so I'm not sure why I even argued the meaningless point the other day.

Honestly, Tony, I didn’t even realize, but we’ve all had our moments. Believe me.

Not me...I don't even like YOUR moments...they're not believable. In my humble opinion, everyone should listen to me and follow my lead because...I'M the Fried Piper!

Yeah no kidding. This clown is also getting on my nerves.

If he doesn’t know how to play the position properly then maybe Gronk or someone should “forget” how to block at his knees properly and give him a real reason to whine like a little girl.

REDRUM! REDRUM!

HEEEEEERRRE'S GRONKY!

Regards,
Chris

extremely passive aggressive...I must insist you enroll in Joe Kerr's School of Covert Assassination Techniques forthwith...

Interesting forum history:

Holy ****! This guy made a Ben vs Brady thread 6 years ago, got his ass handed to him, and is STILL at it after Brady won 2 more rings since then?

I think this guy is on the obsessed psychotic spectrum.

That said, this thread is free entertainment watching posters take turns kicking his ass over and over again. It's like watching a monkey get sprayed with a water over and over, cruel maybe but still funny.

...had broken White's neck. Just ponder the magnitude of that for a few seconds.

How he only got one game for that attack would be baffling, aside from knowing that Goodell is an all-over-the-map incompetent buffoon when it comes to handing out punishments.

And to deny that there is a very real possibility that could've happened by a 6'7" 270 pound man driving his bodyweight into the back of an unsuspecting person's head and neck is just foolish. Remember the Todd Bertuzzi/Steve Moore incident in the NHL. Moore got 3 fractured verterbrae from a punch from behind that didn't even look that dangerous. The difference - Moore was up skating and Bertuzzi was 6'3" 229. White was laying prone and Gronk is 6'7" 270.

I don't think you all realize how lucky Gronk is - not that he only got one game, but that he's not headed for a prison cell. Should've been put down for the year...or at least until after the matchup against the Steelers in two weeks. That would have sufficed.

Screw White. Gronk is the bestest evuh! o_O

Just imagine if this board screened posters...
Actually, I'm glad they don't. I'd rather prove an idiot Steelers fan wrong than let him think he's a martyr.

Brady is tops, but I'd put Montana and Peyton in his ballpark. Maybe Marino. Hard to say about older guys that we never saw play, like Unitas, etc.
The correct order for QBs... well, more correct lots of ties because comparing across eras is stupid. Seriously, the game is barely recognizable the further back we go

1.Sammy Baugh, because he turned the running back QB into the passer we know. Yes, he kind of invented it - he had three coaches. I admit this is kind of honorary and I'm screwing Sid Luckman :) .

2. Tom Brady

3a Otto Graham, 3b Bart Starr, 3c Joe Montana, 3d John Elway,

7a Peyton Manning, 7b Roger Staubach, 7c Kurt Warner, 7d Sid Luckman, 7e Bobby Layne, 7f Unitas

That is more than 10. I can see arguments for many being 7g. (Especially Moon who legitimately has a racism claim making him spend his prime in the CFL- despite the weird sex stuff later in life for him. :) )

Yes- we do realize it.

Can we stop with the 'what ifs' now?
I have been watching football for well over fifty years now, and I possess a photographic memory.

I rank Gronkowski's hit last week 7,649th on my list of worst, most reckless, dangerous hits ever.

Not including college...
