Am not arguing how dirty the hit was. It was a dirty hit. I don't want to see that in the game.

That should be no one's definition of elbowing. Gronk didn't elbow White in the head.

Louis Riddick is going bonkers on ESPN, saying Gronks hit was far worse than JuJu’s, which is true, but Gronk later apologized while JuJu taunted the injured player.

I would be shocked if Gronk got his suspension overturned.

JuJu went "high" and made helmet to helmet contact. For a first time offender is that an immediate suspension? Maybe/maybe not but standing over the guy was a bad look. That sealed his fate

he was lucky to get one game. Honestly thought he'd come down with a 3 gamer. It's several times more severe than JuJu did, so the two getting the same penalty is a little silly.

I mean whatever you think of JuJu, he was finishing his play and made a mistake. It was a football play gone wrong. I get 1 game for the outcome of the hit because it was against the rules after all, but it's not in the same league as what Gronk did.

Whether or not he intended to make head contact, he targeted a player on purpose, hit him while he was down, with his full weight plus momentum, several seconds after the play, and in the process, hit him in the head and injured him. 1 game is moderately lenient for that kind of thing, even with his sincere contrition after the fact.

Lets see...just recorded the live feed...you all should be able to hear a lack of whistle until gronk "touches" white down...video I took is too large to upload. If you have the game dvr'd, go back and watch it live. No whistle. You play until the whistle.

If anyone needs a 1 game can it's the god damn refs. Blow the ****ing play dead. I have no issue with gronks suspension. Call the rules as written and it never gets this far. Call the game equal on both sides in regards to gronk...this never happens.

The facts:
Gronk was boned by the refs this game.

There was never a whistle on "the interception" prior to gronks hit.

Fraudger should suspend the entire zebra crew without pay for 1 game for allowing such a play to occur. I believe it wasnt blown dead due to the shock nobody else on the crew threw a god damn flag until Amendola had his helmet ripped off and gronk hit a player that was down.

When the whistle blew is irrelevant in this, even if White was in bounds and the play was still live, it's still an illegal hit. Don't try to defend Gronks actions, it just makes us look ridiculous

That was a very dirty hit by Gronk. I don't think Gronk is a dirty player and that was very out of character of him, but it was still dirty as all hell and not the type of play that I want to root/cheer for as a fan

I'm as big a Gronk fan on here as anyone else, he's not a bad guy and he's not a dirty player.. but that was a dirty play and trying to defend it just looks really bad
