NFL Week 12 Games

The Chiefs and Titans are **** teams. You just proved his point.

Brilliant analysis, slick. One of those "**** teams" beat the Patriots.

Pitt won’t lose again this season unless we beat them. Friggin awful clock management by GB. Pitt has only cupcakes left.

In the last 3 weeks Pitt has beaten with a last second field goal a team that hadn't scored more than 12 offensive PPG in their past 5 and is 9 out of 16 in points allowed in the nfc, as well as last second FG to beat a 3-8 Indy team that's given up more points than any team in the AFC and can thank Cleveland and Miami for not being the least scoring team in the AFC. Yep, absolutely no doubt Pitt won't lose again

It's almost December and Pitt is still struggling against league flotsam. Hey this kind of thing can happen to anyone on a late November/December Sunday but this late in the season with two out of three weeks? Nobody, least of all Tomlin or anyone on the Steelers, should be speaking the words "won't lose again". The Patriots played flotsam this weekend and had moments of sloppy, un-December like mistakes. The Patriots sloppy means the flotsam remained on the very outer edge of having a shot at victory for a while then were dismissed. Pitt's means they eke out by the skin of their teeth a victory (one that could have been very different if the refs call that blatant helmet to helmet -- unless that type of H to H isn't considered a penalty in that situation).

That was then, this is now. Nobody cares what happened in September or October.

Anyone who calls the Steelers a great defense needs glasses. They are a paper tiger that will be shredded by our offense... as is tradition.

I definitely don’t feel as though they have a great defense, but they’ve most certainly improved, and when all of their weapons are healthy on offense, I think they can pose a threat.

We should still have the upper hand. No doubt about that, but I think the gap has been narrowed a bit versus some past matchups. The aspect that concerns me the most is the 3 game road streak/scheduling issue. I think that works out nicely for Pittsburgh (and of course, the league itself).

I think they are a league average defense in general that has a big matchup problem against a team like Patriots with a well functioning Brady offense.

IDK. In their past three games, PIT barely got by the Colts and a Packers team that BAL shut out last week 23-0. PIT plays @CIN next Monday night, and then hosts BAL on SNF the week following.

It seems to me that the Steelers' deep-seated arrogance gives them a 50-50 chance of effing up in one of those two games.

PIT appears to be vulnerable to the long ball. If Flacco can pull a vintage performance out of his sorry *** two weeks from now, and the Ravens defense can remember some of their history ...

I dont think at this point it really matters anymore. The Steelers would have to lose two more for them to not have HFA with a home win against us. The same is true for us though.. we can afford to lose @Bills and still get HFA if we win @Steelers (and those are the only 2 semi-realistic losses I can see on the schedule).

Realistically, it really will come down to that game. Or in other words... one way or the other we will have to win one game in Pittsburgh this year to get to the SB.

Cool story. Patriots lost to KC and Miami in the first quarter of 2014, and both teams failed to make the playoffs.

I know you like to pretend that the first quarter of the season means anything when it comes to the Patriots, but it doesn't. Not even a little bit. It never has.

When your argument is "Team x barely beat/lost to Team y" without further context, it all matters. It's a stupid argument that should never have been made.

5 to 6 minute Suggs bragfest..... never understood the love for him.

Mad John Harbaugh warms my heart everytime...
