Come on, like this is anywhere NEAR the first time Brady's brought us back in the game's final minutes. This should not be surprising anymore.

Laughing at people going into histrionics before the timer ticks to 0 isn't bullying. It's education. At this point there isn't a fan on this forum who shouldn't know it isn't over til it's over with TB12 at the helm.

When a QB is 40...how do you really know. Is it not true it can happen real quick? I hoped he would get better...and have said that in priors threads...including today when I said whatever funk he was in week one is gone.

I had nothing else to go on other than week one at the time. Period. Who knows for sure what the future would hold? I’m a actually getting quite amazed and content watching people get all twisted up and bent out of shape over a forum post. It’s quite the phenomenon.

Its also childish to not admit you were wrong. The thing is, you continue to move the goalposts and refuse to admit you were wrong. I'm not sure if anybody is a bigot here. I hate the bigot mindset myself, but I don't see you as a victim here. If you admitted you were wrong and people continued to degrade you and you wernt digging your hole deeper, Id be on your side. The thing is, in this case I'm not.

I am pretty anti bullying and think people should be a lot nicer to each other than they are. I have a generous threshold for defining it.

This thread isn't bullying. It's calling people out on being ridiculous. It's not fun to be in a game day thread with a lot of hysterical people who are trying to bring everyone else down. That's why I don't even go in that thread at all.

If you're gonna make an ass of yourself and hate this team (after everything they've done for you the past 17 years), then you're gonna get mocked a bit online. Maybe even called out by name and quotes. It's as far from bullying as it gets. And if you push back, you're gonna find that people will get pretty mean, but it's still hard to find any sympathy.

Exactly. We've all been wrong at some point or other. The key thing that separates the person to be taken seriously and the fool is whether one can see one's own mistake and own up to it.

I’ve explained this many times. It was a game thread. I said what I saw at the time. It’s nice to use future events to explain away past performances but I didn't have that luxury week one. I’m not going to let people who disagree try to make me change my opinion that I had week one. That’s lunacy. I would never ask the same of someone else...

I’ve admitted already the 8-8 thing was a bit reactionary. It is a game thread and if the team quit like they did...it doesn’t bode well. Quit is something I hadn’t remembered seeing. It was shocking and stunning. There are those here that apparently love to hammer those who have opinions that they can’t comprehend. I’m cool with it..just not going to back and not defend myself when needed.

What does it really say that ridicule isn’t only allowed, but endorsed by many here?

You had a lot to go on. You had a career to go on and all you had to do was look at the plays in that game and put a slight bit of analysis in.
The defense dictated low percentage throws. For a decent part of the game Brady took advantage hence the 27 points. At other times the defense won. It's football.

It is very easy to admit you were wrong and move on. No one will hold it over you. Actually they will when you refuse to admit it, so it's really a win.
We all including you, know you were wrong. Take the high road.

Not sure what your last sentence is supposed to mean but if you think ability means nothing and success is random you are further off the mark than I thought.

Not sure where you are getting your charting from but a 40 yard pass is not in target as often as a 2 yard pass in any reality.

I think its best to move on. I come from another forum in which I moderate too. I am staff on its official chat and I have seen situations like this many times. Moving on doesnt make you the loser, it makes you a man. If you were 15 I would treat it differently, but you arent.
