Two weeks into the season, Wise is legitimately competing for DROY. He's top 10 in the NFL in sacks & tied for first in QB hits with the likes of Justin Houston & Von Miller. All the more impressive when you consider he didn't really have a preseason. Only a matter of time until he's starting.

Butler leads all rookie DTs in pressures & is second in snaps at the position among rookies as well. The run D looked improved with him in there yesterday.

It's early, but it seems like we may get first & 2nd round rookie production with a 4th rounder & UDFA. Those Arkansas DL coaches need to better utilize their talent.

And to think we are adding Rivers back next season.
On another note does Shea come back or are we cutting our losses?

Good work by our talent evaluators, Caserio et al...

Wonder who worked these guys out..

In the end if you have production from a player it doesn't matter which round he was drafted, the early rounds only gives you in theory a better chance to hit on a player. If Wise keeps producing like this and one of Rivers/Garcia also get to produce, this past draft will not be a wasted one.

On Wise, he was highly regarded. He dropped in the draft. I don't know why, but I saw plenty of mocks taking him in the 2nd. Great value.

Langi was beast in ST coverage......ya, he got a facemask penalty, but jeez, he's an animal

Hollister did not look like a liability out there......need to get him more opportunities

He wasn't durable at Arkansas. Injured often.

Don't forget they also gave us one of the worst defensive ends in NFL history

The Pats are doing a nice job finding value late in the draft and with un drafted free agents.

Roberts & Jonathan Jones from last year's class also made strong contributions yesterday. Both of these guys have very good speed for their positions and should continue to develop into solid players.

Adam Butler is #3 in PRP among rookie DTs, Wise is #2 among rookie edge rushers. Nice!

Yes, these are excellent additions. It is great to have two rookies who are contributing immediately, and in a major way.

We had 4 draft choices (and used 2 more to trade up), and we have Wise.

We had 20-25 UDFA's and we have Butler. Also, Hollister and Langi are contributing a bit.

Hopefully, we will have contributions from Rivers and Garcia in the future, or not.
