So Brissett was a blown opportunity traded for high round talent at a low price?....
In regards to blown draft picks, perception is relative to pick number. Yes, we can look to blown opportunities in the form of ...Jacoby Brisset and maybe Cyrus Jones. To do this is to ignore ... the high round talent we have acquired via trade at low price (Rowe, VanNoy, Dorsett, Marsh). Think of it this way, had Flowers been picked in round 2, and Richard in round 4, we'd be singing a very different tune about the 2015 draft.

That doesn't sound like a blown opportunity, more like one that paid off differently than originally expected.
Would you agree they are wrong? That certainly is the view of Weiss and Reiss.
Their position is that we got reasonable value for drafting and developing Brisette.Would you agree they are wrong?
Karras will be back on the Roster as soon as they process the players going to IR. None of that was done yesterday..
Your opinion would mean a whole lot more if you liked a SINGLE roster decision that Bill Belichick has made in his time here.
I misunderstood. I thought you meant they said he was a blown opportunityTheir position is that we got reasonable value for drafting and developing Brisette.
I don't think that they were wrong.
If you're asking whether Brissett was a reasonable prospect to be a starting quarterback for the patriots, then I certainly agreeing that believing that was an error.

I see you don't appreciate good ole fashioned sarcasmLol, get a clue
Surprise
It seems that we are so knowledgeable about the quality of backup OL on all 32 teams that we are capable of evaluating and ranking the quality of Fleming, Waddle and Croston. It may not be an inspiring group, but few backup OL are.
This is exactly what people were saying after the KC game in 2014, they have won two Lombardi since then and have the best record in football since then. They allowed the fewest points in football last season.
News flash, the fans don't know 1/1000 of what Belichick and his coaches do regarding football and personnel, those who think they know better are mentally ill.
So they haven't played a snap yet and you think they have declined?NEWS FLASH: pinkhats are so embarrassing with their blind fanboy silliness.
Hey Ivan, you think the Patriots D will allow the fewest points in the NFL THIS season?? You probably do....

But Scott Zolak is all-in on Karras. You think Dante knows more about O-line play than Zo?When it comes to the OL, I think Scarnecchia knows what he's doing
Richards seems like a perfect Belichik guy "off the field". Unfortunately, his "on the field" play is simply not NFL CaliberWe need a backup SS. Richards could be replaced today.
