Goodell still upset about Patricia's clown shirt

I love the idea, but I'm afraid there would be about 5-10 thousand shirts, with about 60,000 "other" fans who just don't get it, don't care enough about it, or simply won't have access to enough shirts.

It would have to be a widespread effort that is probably a bit unrealistic. Hope I'm wrong, because I'd love to see it.
10000 would be noticed.
It wouldn't be a #clownout but it would get noticed.

This is one of those times I wish I had Powerball money. Because then there would be 70,000 shirts being handed out in the lots (openly in non-Kraft lots and quasi-surreptitiously via paid, recruited tailgaters in the Kraft lots), a full-page full color ad in the Globe and Herald with the image, and several planes pulling banners.

The plane pulling a banner is a great idea. Wonder how much that costs.

The planes with banners wouldn't work well this being a night game. You'd need a blimp that's illuminated from the inside with Roger's clown face on the side.

Blimps can be rented.. imagine fully illuminated over Gillette on Sept 7, "Deflate this with a pix of Goodell with a clown nose".. would be difficult for media to ignore. May be less expensive than 70K T-Shirts.. I would contribute to that cause.

But might suspect some collusion among the NFL and its corporate partners...

BB is having too much fun making Goodell look like a f'ing clown.

"Take my draft picks" - "Hand me the Lombardi"
"Take my QB for four games" - "Hand me the Lombardi and by the way check out Matt's T-shirt." "Oh and did you see Tom's "Roger that" commercial?"
This just reminds us all and hopefully shows those that didn't before how phucking ridiculous this whole thing is. Sure, it may initially impact an owner wanting to take a chance on an up and coming defensive coordinator, but hopefully Matt Patricia continues to trend upwards and is determined even more to give Roger the finger by completing an even better season defensively to the point where an owner smartens up and says, "I know you're our glorious leader and all Roger, but damnn....I have to hire this guy. You understand? It's business and allRoger."

I wonder how Krafty would handle an organized Clown Shirt effort by PatsFans.

Many many years ago, I attended a Chiefs -Raiders game in KC and their fans despised the Raiders and Al Davis more than we hate the Jets. During the pre game tailgate, thousands of large pins that mocked Al Davis were handed out....plus all the t-shirts fans were wearing that eviscerated Davis.......and Stadium security either turned away these fans or confiscated their pins/shirts......fans' choice.
Fans that made it into the stadium by hiding their gear were dealt with swiftly once they revealed their goods.
The Chiefs organization was not going to allow such a display by the fans.

I like the blimp idea. Just need a rogue pilot to buzz the lighthouse.

I think Barstool should spearhead/finance all disruption operations. Portnoy and company need to finish what they started. Getting arrested for TB12 was above and beyond....but the final chapter still needs an epic ending.

And ....a shout out to any MIT nerd who can hack into the video display signage inside Gillette. This is your time to shine. Let the clowns dance.

It's worth noting that Patricia was likely particularly offended by the investigation because he has the background to understand the utter absurdity of the technical analysis in the Wells Report.

Someone who has designed airplanes is going to be seething when reading that report.

FYI regardless of the clownout turnout fans who are at the game MUST take pictures of people wearing the shirt of shame and post then to social media. #clownout should trend

Well maybe we should send him a present to cheer him up. How about some new shoes?

I don't think he owns this pair yet. At least I have never seen him wear them around. Maybe that is why he is such a sad clown right now.

Very disappointed in Ian's decision. Exactly the kind of apathy the 32 were counting on when they perpetrated this snow job in the first place.

5-10,000 shirts would be very noticeable, it would be enough to shift the complexion of the stadium.

If you cut that check, and get the Patriots to sign off on people passing out those shirts on team property (this would have to be done at the gates, after all), I'm sure there would be plenty of Patsfans.com posters who'd be willing to give them out, without getting paid.

P.S. Gillette seats about 67,000, so you'd need at least that many shirts, and you'd need an assortment of sizes.
Wish I had that kind of scratch, but I'd commit a couple hundred bucks to a fund to buy that many shirts.

Too bad they don't allow balloons into Gillette. I think 50,000 blue balloons with the Clown image released during the National Anthem when the Network has to cover the proceedings would be a very nice touch.

Well if you have $50K or so to purchase the shirts, we're up for it! (ps - please don't diss Ian).

Maybe.

5k would make it approx. 1 out of every 13-14 people. To me, that's not the attention that people were hoping for. I want an all out public shaming.

Hell there is one dude who wears a Brady Michigan jersey and my son notice him every game so 5000 people would be pretty noticeable.
That's about 2 per row of every section.
Granted a true clownout would be incredible but anything noticeable will be fun.
