Really? You think those are his only options? Retire or get divorced?
I think their marriage is strong enough that they can survive a disagreement, especially one rooted in her love for him and his well being.
That is a fair point, but I would argue something like this rises above a simple disagreement like whether to move to a bigger house. And, although we as outside observers don't really know, the fact that to outside appearances the marriage appears strong is exactly the point. When you are in a strong marriage you at least pay close attention to the wishes of your wife and kids, particularly if it is health related (and obviously Brady is SUPER health conscious). He has been pounded and slammed to the ground for sixteen years now. Of course his wife, and likely other family members, are worried about post concussive syndrome, and Gisele has made this point publicly. I would be surprised if Brady is completely blowing off these health related concerns from his family, and as possibly the smartest NFL player ever (who thrives on research) I expect Brady has researched the subject and is concerned himself, he doesn't want to be a burden on his family in 25 years. My opinion is that he won't play more than 1-3 years, even if he is at the top of his game. Just my 2 cents worth.
