Breakout Player of 2017

Edelman 800yds I don't think so I would think he would be more lethal with the additional Targets. Edelman gets open quicker than any of Brady's other targets.

He had 1100 last year. Highest in his career.

With a healthy Gronk and the addition of Cooks he will almost certainly have less than last year. And that is a good thing given his career low catch rate last year Brady was either forcing the ball to him or he is declining; hopefully the former.

And my main point really was to show that even low-balling player production there isn't room for Mitchell to be a breakout player. The offense is simply to loaded

Van Noy and C Jones.

Elandon Roberts and Cyrus Jones are both on the breakout watch list.
If I can only pick one then it's Jones by a length (It's Derby weekend so yeah, by a length).

Jordan Richards. There it is. I said it.
I wasn't responding until I checked to see whether anyone else would post this.

:)

Year 2 leap

which first year players do we expect to make a huge year 2 leap?

I am hopeful that jones shakes off the mental cobwebs and plays to his potential!

I said it in similar thread and I'm gonna stick with him here Roberts.

Hogan
McClellin
Van Noy

I have a sneaking suspicion the two year leap is not completely accurate.

There is no question the player is more comfortable as a NFLer, knows the position and the coaches know how to use them but I don't think it means they always have a more prominent role on the team and are more productive.

For every Trey Flowers and Gronk there is a Ron Brace and Jordan Richards.

I'm hoping it's Mitchell! There's something about that young receiver that makes me believe we found a gem.

For me what is exciting about MM is he has the best combination of athletic talent and maturity/intelligence that I can remember since the BB era began.

VV to me is a player that has the size and quickness to succeed in this system, my question about him going in was how would respond to coaching. I saw enough last year to give me a lot of hope for the guy, but discipline will be the big challenge.

Gino Grissom. You heard it here first

Cyrus is going to bust a few Loooong run backs on ST this year ( without fumbles) and be the player that I thought they drafted last year.. ... or not

I really don't know why people are saying Malcolm Mitchell. While I really like him, he is buried in the depth chart. Gronk Cooks and Edelman are going to get most of the targets, and Hogan is next. Mitchell won't have enough opportunities barring an injury
